BE (Preferred) or Diploma (Mechanical or Mechatronics)

Experience :

Minimum 5 to 6 years (particularly in active/direct Sales and marketing) mainly in machine tool companies in gear machines. It can be manufacturer or dealers/agents for gear manufacturing and inspection related machines. Preferable from South India (Tamilnadu or Karnataka) having mother tongue as Tamil or Kannada. Experience of sales in other type of high precision machines like internal/external grinding etc. also can be considered.

Key Responsibilities:

As an employee responsible for sales and customer support, candidate will have internal and external responsibilities as mentioned herein below:

External responsibilities include in addition to other matters, following activities

1. First and foremost, candidate will always represent Klingelnberg to customers with highest possible personal integrity, dignity and technical knowledge. candidate will pay attention to his grooming, body language and interpersonal skills to create respect and natural affinity towards Klingelnberg, in the minds of customers.

2. Sale and rigorous promotion of Klingelnberg machinery and technology in the market. Effort should be made to achieve the highest possible profitability in sale.

3. Defending existing market share and winning new customers

4. Keeping excellent personal and professional relationship with all employees at customer end so as to influence business decisions

5. Taking complete ownership of a project from start to final acceptance & payment settlement between customer & Klingelnberg

6. Preparation of Tender Specifications

7. Winning AMCs for the company and executing them

8. Support & assistance during Installation of machines

9. Assisting customers for various production related tasks & guiding them towards service department for profitable customer support

1. Keeping meticulous records of history of sales projects, issues & lessons learned from each project

2. Co-ordination with other departments within Klingelnberg and customer to deliver tasks with maximum efficiency;

3. Winning new customers and business for the company.

Internal responsibilities include the following activities:

4. Communication of project and task related information seamlessly with superiors, Project Co-ordinator and responsible lead engineers at Klingelnberg GmbH / Klingelnberg AG;

5. Preparation of power point presentations;

6. Preparation of technical papers for presentations at symposiums;

7. Developing ideas for innovation / improvements in technology and to communicate the same to superiors;

8. Continuously learn and teach fellow employees about status of technology in the field, including features of competing technology;

9. Preparation of visit / operational reports within 3 working days of every professional assignment.

Other Skills require:

Communication Skill

- Excellent communication (Verbal and written) skill in English is must. Fluency in Tamil language is preferred.

Market exposure

- Should have good connect with all our major customers in South India. Customer means all automotive OEMS/Tier 1,2 suppliers to OEMS/Industrial Gear/gear box Manufacturers etc.

Work Experience - Minimum 5 to 6 years' experience in the sales and marketing of gear related machines. Language - Very good in English and additionally can speak or understand Tamil, Telugu, Kannada. Mother tongue shall be Tamil. Expertise with Skill - Preparing and making the product presentation Industry Experience - preference will be given for a candidate having hands on experience in production department in gear manufacturing company.
