Job Title: Senior Engineer / Assistant Manager - Process Sales (Industrial Channel, ISD)
Purpose of the Role
Lead growth initiatives in the Process Industry by overseeing sales execution and channel development (Industrial Service Division). The role combines strategic leadership with technical expertise to achieve business expansion objectives.
Core Responsibilities
Territory & Channel Growth
Build and nurture relationships with channel partners across assigned territories.
Drive new business growth in the process industry segments (Food & Beverage, Pharma, Chemicals), with focus on MRO and OEM needs.
Develop and execute plans for partner-led marketing and promotional activities.
Strategic Sales Management
Attain and surpass sales targets through structured process planning: lead generation, opportunity management, pipeline forecasting, and conversions.
Coordinate closely with internal teams (support, service, operations) to align delivery and performance with customer expectations.
Handle RFQs, order tracking, payments, and ensure timely product delivery.
Sales Enablement & Partner Performance
Empower channel partners via training, mentorship, and co-marketing initiatives.
Monitor partner performance and propose actionable improvements for enhanced results.
Market & Regulatory Intelligence
Keep abreast of regulatory landscapes (API, FDA) and industry developments.
Analyze competitive actions and leverage insights to optimize sales strategies.
Collect and report Voice of Customer data to continuously refine offerings.
Operations & Customer Coordination
Streamline customer support processes, facilitating quick and efficient customer service.
Document and replicate local success stories across regions.
Ensure product supply meets agreed timelines and service standards.
Ideal Candidate Profile
Industry Expertise
Extensive experience in process industry sales and channel development--particularly within F&B, Pharma, and Chemicals.
Familiarity with regulatory environments affecting these sectors.
