? Sales & Business Development:
? Identify and target potential clients in various sectors including IT, data centers,
telecom, manufacturing, and commercial establishments requiring server rack
systems and wall mounting enclosures.
? Generate new leads through market research, networking, and cold calling.
? Develop and execute sales strategies to achieve and exceed sales targets.
? Prepare and deliver compelling sales presentations, product demonstrations, and
technical proposals to prospective clients.
? Negotiate contracts and close sales effectively, ensuring profitability and customer
satisfaction.
? Actively participate in industry events, trade shows, and conferences to promote
Messung's solutions.
? Technical Consultation & Solution Design:
? Understand customer needs and technical specifications related to server racks,
network cabinets, wall-mount enclosures, and associated accessories (PDU, cable
management, cooling solutions).
? Provide expert technical advice and recommend optimal solutions based on client
requirements, space constraints, and future scalability.
? Collaborate with the engineering and production teams to ensure that proposed
solutions are technically feasible and meet quality standards.
? Conduct site visits to assess client infrastructure and propose suitable
configurations.
? Customer Relationship Management:
? Build and maintain strong, long-term relationships with key customers, channel
partners, and system integrators.
? Act as a primary point of contact for technical inquiries and post-sales support,
coordinating with relevant internal teams for issue resolution.
? Gather market intelligence, competitor activities, and customer feedback to inform
product development and sales strategies.
? Market Analysis & Reporting:
? Keep abreast of industry trends, technological advancements, and competitor
offerings in the server rack and enclosure market.
? Prepare regular sales forecasts, pipeline reports, and activity reports for
management.
? Analyze sales data to identify opportunities for growth and improvement.
Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree in Engineering (Electronics, Electrical, Mechanical, IT, or Computer Science
preferred) or a related technical field.
Experience
? 3-6 years of proven sales experience in selling IT infrastructure products, specifically server
rack systems, network cabinets, wall mounting enclosures, and related accessories or BMS/Building Automation solutions.
? Strong technical understanding of IT infrastructure, data center environments, networking
components, and thermal management.
? Demonstrated track record of achieving sales targets.
? Excellent communication, presentation, and negotiation skills.
? Ability to understand complex technical requirements and translate them into effective
solutions.
? Self-motivated, results-oriented, and able to work independently as well as part of a team.
? Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
? Experience with CRM software is a plus.
? Willingness to travel extensively within Pune and other parts of India as required.
