ob Purpose

To ensure that all interior fit-out works (civil, carpentry, finishes, MEP coordination, and installations) are executed as per approved drawings, specifications, quality standards, and client requirements, while minimizing rework and defects.

Key Responsibilities1. Quality Planning & Control

Develop and implement

Quality Control Plans (QCP)

and

Inspection & Test Plans (ITP)

for interior works. Ensure compliance with approved drawings, BOQs, material specifications, and mock-ups. Prepare checklists for carpentry, finishing, painting, flooring, ceiling, and installation works.
2. Site Inspection & Monitoring

Conduct regular site inspections for: Modular & loose furniture Carpentry & joinery works Civil finishing works Surface finishes (laminate, veneer, PU, polish, paint) Flooring, ceiling, glass, and hardware installations Identify defects and ensure corrective & preventive actions.
3. Material Quality Control

Inspect incoming materials at site/factory for quality, make, and specifications. Ensure materials used are approved by client/consultant. Maintain material inspection records and test reports.
4. Coordination & Communication

Coordinate with project managers, site engineers, vendors, subcontractors, and designers. Attend quality meetings with clients/consultants and close observations. Guide site teams on quality workmanship and best practices.
5. Documentation & Reporting

Maintain quality records, inspection reports. Prepare daily/weekly quality reports. Ensure proper documentation for handover and project close-out.
6. Handover & Snag Closure

Conduct pre-handover inspections and prepare snag lists. Ensure timely closure of snags as per client standards. Support final handover and DLP (Defect Liability Period) activities.
7. Process Improvement

Analyze recurring quality issues and recommend improvements. Support standardization of workmanship and quality benchmarks across projects. Train junior engineers and supervisors on quality standards.
Key Skills & Competencies

Strong knowledge of

interior materials, finishes, and workmanship standards

Ability to read and interpret

shop drawings

Attention to detail and strong problem-solving skills Good communication and coordination skills Knowledge of quality documentation and inspection procedures
Qualification & Experience

Diploma / BE / BTech in Civil Engineering or related field

6-10 years of experience

in interior fit-out / furniture / turnkey projects Experience in commercial offices, retail, hospitality, or residential interiors preferre
Job Types: Full-time, Permanent

Pay: ?45,000.00 - ?58,000.00 per month
