We're Hiring: Senior Quality Engineer - Aerospace Industry

Experience: 5 -8 Years

Qualification: B.E. / B.Tech in Mechanical, Aerospace, Industrial Engineering, or related field

Job Purpose -

We are seeking a Senior Quality Engineer to lead and enhance our quality assurance initiatives within the aerospace sector. This role involves overseeing quality systems, conducting root cause analyses, and implementing corrective actions to ensure compliance with industry standards and customer requirements.

Key Responsibilities

Quality System Leadership: Develop, implement, and maintain quality management systems in compliance with aerospace industry standards (e.g., AS9100, NADCAP).

Root Cause Analysis & CAPA: Lead investigations into quality issues, identify root causes, and implement effective corrective and preventive actions.

Supplier Quality Management: Audit and qualify suppliers, evaluate supplier performance, and ensure adherence to quality standards.

Process Improvement: Drive continuous improvement initiatives using methodologies like Six Sigma and Lean to enhance product quality and operational efficiency.

Audit & Compliance: Conduct internal and external audits, ensuring compliance with quality standards and regulatory requirements.

Documentation & Reporting: Maintain accurate quality documentation, prepare reports, and present findings to senior management.

Cross-Functional Collaboration: Work closely with engineering, manufacturing, and supply chain teams to address quality concerns and implement solutions.

Key Skills

Quality Management Systems (QMS): Proficiency in AS9100 and NADCAP standards.

Root Cause Analysis & CAPA: Expertise in methodologies like 5 Whys, Fishbone diagrams, and Failure Mode and Effects Analysis (FMEA).

Statistical Process Control (SPC): Experience in monitoring and controlling manufacturing processes.

Supplier Quality Management: Skills in evaluating and improving supplier performance.

Continuous Improvement: Knowledge of Six Sigma, Lean, and Kaizen methodologies.

Audit & Compliance: Experience in conducting internal and external audits.

Documentation & Reporting: Strong ability to maintain quality documentation and prepare detailed reports.

Communication & Leadership: Excellent interpersonal skills to collaborate with cross-functional teams and lead quality initiatives.
