Job Summary:
The Senior Civil Engineer will oversee and manage day-to-day site activities, ensuring quality construction and timely completion of the residential project. The role involves coordination with contractors, consultants, vendors, and internal teams to ensure the project is delivered as per design, cost, and time parameters.
Key Responsibilities:
Manage all on-site construction activities for residential buildings (structural + finishing).
Supervise and monitor project execution in accordance with drawings, specifications, and safety standards.
Ensure quality control and compliance with all statutory and regulatory requirements.
Prepare project schedules, monitor progress, and ensure adherence to deadlines.
Maintain proper documentation of site activities including DPRs, material records, inspection reports, etc.
Manage subcontractors and labor teams, ensuring productivity and workmanship.
Conduct regular site inspections and quality audits.
Manage procurement planning and inventory of materials required at site.
Ensure adherence to health and safety norms on-site.
Report regularly to the Project Manager/Head of Construction on progress, issues, and delays.
Requirements:
Bachelor's Degree/Diploma in Civil Engineering from a recognized institution.
6-8 years of hands-on experience in civil construction, preferably in high-end residential projects.
Strong knowledge of structural work, finishing, and building construction techniques.
Proven ability to manage teams, contractors, and vendors.
Familiarity with construction safety norms and local building codes.
Proficient in MS Office, AutoCAD
Strong communication, leadership, and problem-solving skills.
Preferred Qualifications:
Experience working with reputed real estate developers or contractors.
Knowledge of high-rise building construction and post-tensioned structures is a plus.
Exposure to modern formwork systems (Mivan, Aluminum)
