Implement preventive and breakdown maintenance of electrical systems (CNC/PLC-based machines, grinding machines, furnaces, compressors, motors, drives, and control panels).
Ensure safe operation of Machines, Equipment's, Interlocks, Electrical Supply, Pressure Vessels, Cranes, Hoists, Gas Supply and Testing equipment's.
Maintain motors, drives, panels, sensors, contactors, relays, and wiring systems.
Knowledge of all basic operations like Grinding, Milling, Turning etc.
Troubleshoot PLC, CNC, and SCADA systems.
Support small automation and low-cost automation projects.
Support installation, testing, and commissioning of new machines, utilities, and electrical infrastructure.
Maintain equipment history, calibration records.
Monitor plant power distribution system (HT/LT panels, transformers, DG sets, UPS systems).
To reduce power consumption per unit of production.
Ensure safe operation of electrical systems and compliance with IE Rules, CEA regulations, and factory inspector requirements.
Ensure proper load balancing, grounding/earthing, and power quality monitoring.
Track energy consumption and suggest conservation measures.
Support initiatives to improve power factor and reduce energy costs.
Energy monitoring and measurement parameters EnPI and EnB. Monitor the performance of SEU.
Guide and develop technicians in troubleshooting electrical issues.
To achieve the KAI of PM Pillar of TPM as per the Master plan.
Implementing, maintaining and continually improve: ISO 9001:2015, IATF 16949, ISO 14001:2015, ISO 45001:2018, EnMS 50001:2018, ISO 10002: 2018 and other applicable systems.
