JOB DESCRIPTIONNOTE - Only Female Candidates Are Required For This Position Principal responsibilities

• Achieve zero breakdowns and maximize efficiency of equipment's through condition monitoring and preventive / predictive maintenance.
• Ensure 100% compliance of applicable statutory requirements like Factory Inspectorate/Labour law /CEIG for al Electrical Installation
• Machine's Spares Inventory control through identification of critical spares and maintaining minimum stocks by proper purchase complying the procedure.
• Achieve Safety and the quality standards of the company through training, conducting audits and closing out on the assigned actions arising out of the audits.
• Handling the contracted manpower for conducting the routine maintenance jobs which includes imparting training for safe and quality job. Also complying the statutory requirements.
• Working on Loss Management (product/consumable) program of unit by ensuring sound health of equipment.
• The major mechanical jobs including condition monitoring, predictive / preventive maintenance of Electrical Synchronous and Induction motors, Heaters, Electrical Switchgears, MCC rooms, HVAC units etc
• The incumbent is responsible for maintenance systems (Electrical) to ensure zero breakdowns due to failure of any machine.
• Carrying out proper planning, scheduling and controlling all the activities of preventive / predictive maintenance including condition monitoring, ensuring all stand by machines are in order and procuring and maintaining an optimum inventory of critical spares as per the company's financial objectives.
• The incumbent is also responsible for mechanical breakdown maintenance.

• The incumbent ensures 100% compliance on statutory requirements of Factory Inspectorate, CEIG, KPTCL for all the installations at Plant.
• The incumbent will assist Plant Manager as an Engineering Audit co-ordinator by co-ordinating audits and then closing the audit findings by taking necessary actions.
• The major challenge facing the incumbent is to achieve the target Plant On Line Time by ensuring zero breakdown of the plant through condition monitoring, predictive and preventive maintenance, ensuring health of stand by equipment's and inventory of critical spares and reduce the annual maintenance cost by developing local vendors / contractors.
• Responsible for using of Computerised Maintenance Package (Maximo) and carrying out the jobs as per the package's schedule to ensure that NO maintenance jobs are pending.
• The incumbent will be working in co-ordination with Production, Instrumentation and Electrical functions.
• Responsible for a maintenance budget.
• Support data management and technical evaluation efforts of team.
• Recommend new approaches to streamline team's data management.
• Prepares necessary materials/support items and operates material handling and manufacturing equipment
• Assists maintenance technicians with non-routine repairs as needed
• Provides status reports to supervisor, contributes to periodic production metrics reports and assists in presentations (e.g., safety or team meetings)
• Collects and records data for statistical process control and related reports
• Completes quality reports on non-conforming products and creates action plans to resolve issues
• May work directly with suppliers in ordering materials
• Audits manufacturing paperwork to ensure product specifications and manufacturing instructions are current
• Proactively participates in customer complaint resolution and production trouble-shooting activities
• Assists engineering staff and others in the operation of processing equipment as needed
• Timely Involve and conduct RCAs and Failure mode and effective analysis(FMEA) of various equipment's

Required Key Skills

• Hands on experience of maintenance of compressors, pumps etc.
• Experience of maintenance and trouble shooting.
• Analytical skills
