Role Summary:
The Senior Data Engineer designs and implements complex data solutions across cloud and hybrid environments. This role leads the development of advanced data pipelines and database architectures, mentors' junior engineers, and partners closely with stakeholders to deliver scalable analytics solutions.
Key Responsibilities:

• Architect, develop, and optimize complex data pipelines and database solutions
• Lead relational and dimensional data modeling efforts for analytics and reporting
• Design and maintain advanced SQL transformations and stored procedures
• Ensure performance, reliability, and scalability of data platforms
• Guide and mentor Data Engineers through design reviews and best practices
• Collaborate with architects, analysts, and business stakeholders to translate requirements into technical solutions
• Support cloud migration and modernization initiatives
• Promote engineering standards, documentation, and CI/CD practices

Mandatory Skills:

• SQL and database design
• Strong experience building ETL/ELT pipelines in cloud environments
• Hands-on experience with cloud platforms (Azure)
• Working knowledge of Python or similar languages for pipeline orchestration
• Experience with version control, CI/CD pipelines, and DevOps practices
• Experience working on Agile Methodologies
• Familiarity with reporting tools such as Power BI OR Microsoft Fabric OR Tableau

Nice to Have:

• Experience with streaming or message-based architectures (Kafka, EventHub)
• Knowledge of NoSQL or semi-structured data platforms
• Familiarity with cost optimization and performance monitoring
• Cloud certifications (AWS, Azure, or GCP)
