About IIT Madras Research Park:

IIT Madras Research Park a section 25 company established by the IITM, Chennai is operating from 1st Floor, Kanagam Road, Taramani, Chennai - 600 113. It operates as an interface between academia and industry for the transfer of new technology by way of research findings. The campus houses various leading National and multinational companies' R&D wings in addition to the Startups and IIT Madras incubated companies numbering at present around 200 companies. The campus is a self-sustaining campus with all internal and external services.

The research park is housed in 11.42 Acres of land with buildings with 15.75 lakh Sq.Ft builtup area with building ranging G+12 to G+6 with basement of minus 3 level with

a Multi-level car parking

with self-sustaining services of internal and external bulk services with all internal/external electrical supply, water supply and sanitary arrangements, air-conditioning works (HVAC), Fire Fighting & Fire protection system, lifts, External facade works comprising of structural glazing, site development including Roads and paths, Architectural finishing, provision of pavement and drain, rainwater harvesting arrangements, UPS, Solar PV, Solar hot water, IBMS, CCTV, Access control, Fire alarm, A/V Systems, Water treatment plant, sewage treatment plants, R.O treatment, IT network with switches through multiple service providers.etc.

As a sustaining facility to occupants a food court is functioning in the with facilities to dine 800 people in one sitting and has facilities to run 4 food courts and are presently functioning a state of Art Auditorium with 1000 seat capacity and an Amphi Theatre with 200 seat capacity with state of art Audio visual for multi-purpose Events.and also 10 nos conference halls , a mini auditorium with 100 seat capacity two Nos state of art exhibition halls and 4 nos Theme Lounges with A|V facilities including video conferencing . A Creche and state of Art GYM is also functioning in campus..

The above campus is a self-sustaining NETT ZERO campus.

The facility is looked after by a team well trained professional expertise technicians, operators , OEM AMC and other AMC vendors guided by Senior managers of IITMRP of individual verticals.

We are looking for a personnel to guide the Team with his visionary approach and provide to the clients and seamless infrastructure facility . He will be reporting directly to the Head-Infra of IITMRP.

We prefer candidates with a qualification of Minimum Bachelor Degree in Engineering from Reputed university with Civil discipline .

Experienced Project Management Professional with over 15 years' organizational experience in Multi-Dimensional Projects Directed and executed involving Civil/Electrical and MEP systems /Buildings Each Project worth at least with a built up area of 5 lakh sq. feet Capable of leading a department & handling Projects/ The projects handled shall be institutional, commercial, office, IT infrastructure ,educational , Malls etc and not that of multiple residential units.

1. Having a full command and knowledge of planning design and execution , commissioning of original projects with buildings and all other infrastructure equivalent that of as housed in IITMRP.

2. Having full knowledge and experience in preventive, periodical, and day to day maintenance of buildings and its associated infrastructure like, carpentry, plumbing, water supply, drainage systems, fire fighting Grid, water proofing, interior finishing like wall paneling, false ceiling , work stations etc including pavement and roads, water treatment plants, sewage treatment plants, effluent treatment plants etc.

3. Having knowledge to addition and alteration projects for the existing blocks and having thorough knowledge of understanding the functional requirement and conceptualizing, designing, execution, including preparation of estimates and project management and contract management of the project.

4. We prefer the candidate to have an experience of minimum 10 Years in original project execution and minimum 5 years in maintenance up keep and operation activity of the all infrastructure including buildings. Having thorough Knowledge in Civil, electrical and renewable energy and Mechanical System and Green building concept certification system.

The candidate shall have a thorough knowledge on codal provisions and mandatory requirements of obtaining license , Approval etc from Government agencies.

Shall have a pleasant cordial inter personal relationship with his team and other peer groups and clients.

We prefer the candidate with in the age less than 55 Years and compensation will be negotiable and commensurate to the market for their expertise.
