Job Description

Project Leadership & Management:

Lead and manage design, planning, and construction phases of highway projects. Develop project scopes, budgets, schedules, and resource allocation. Oversee progress, ensuring adherence to timelines, quality, and budget constraints.

Technical Design & Review:

Review and guide the production of detailed engineering drawings, specifications, and contract documents. Provide technical solutions, analyze feasibility, and select cost-effective approaches. Ensure designs meet local/national standards (AASHTO, MUTCD, etc.).

Construction Supervision:

Oversee site activities, ensuring compliance with design, safety, and quality standards. Coordinate with contractors, resolve issues, and manage construction logistics.

Team & Stakeholder Management:

Mentor and guide junior engineers, technicians, and project teams. Communicate with clients, government agencies, and communities.

Planning & Safety:

Conduct feasibility studies, traffic analyses, and environmental impact assessments. Implement traffic control, safety measures (signage, barriers), and sustainability solutions. Prepare reports, bid packages, and technical documentation.
Essential Skills & Qualifications

Proven experience in highway/roadway design and project delivery. Proficiency with design software (AutoCAD, MicroStation, Civil 3D). Strong leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills. Understanding of relevant standards (AASHTO, DMRB, FHWA).
