The QCT Product and Software Tools team at Qualcomm builds scalable and secure software platforms that support a global network of customers, OEMs, ISVs, and application developers. Minimum Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Electrical/Electronics Engineering, or a related technical field.
• 1-5+ years of experience in programming languages such as C/C++.
• 1-5+ year of experience with Git, Perforce, or other source code management systems.

Preferred Qualifications

• Strong understanding of multi-processor and multi-threaded systems, including inter-process and inter-processor communication.
• Solid grasp of operating system fundamentals such as threads, synchronization, and memory management.
• Proficiency in C/C++ programming.
• Ability to quickly ramp up on new technologies based on feature or product requirements.
• Effective verbal and written communication skills.
• Hands-on experience with embedded operating systems such as QNX, Linux, Ubuntu, or Android NDK.

Minimum Qualifications: o Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Information Systems, Computer Science, or related field and 2+ years of Software Engineering or related work experience.
OR
Master's degree in Engineering, Information Systems, Computer Science, or related field and 1+ year of Software Engineering or related work experience.
OR
PhD in Engineering, Information Systems, Computer Science, or related field.

• 2+ years of academic or work experience with Programming Language such as C, C++, Java, Python, etc.

Key Responsibilities

• Apply software engineering principles to support the design, development, modification, and validation of embedded software, applications, and specialized utility programs.
• Analyze user needs and software requirements to design and implement software features for products and systems.
• Participate in the design and coding of features, unit testing, debugging, and integration efforts to ensure timely project delivery.
