The Senior Engineer Automation Quality position plays a key role in the development of robust and scalable automation frameworks. This role has ownership of automation initiatives for highly complex projects, mentoring lower level team members, and collaborating with cross-functional teams. Strong analytical skills, attention to detail, and effective communication are integral to fulfilling this role successfully.
Essential Functions:Design, develop, and maintain automated test scripts and frameworks. Create robust and scalable test automation frameworks and scripts independently Expertise in design and development of complex automated test scripts Lead the execution of automated test cases and interpret the results to identify issues Identify, document, and manage software defects to resolution Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure quality during integration, functional and regression test phases Integrate automated tests into the CI/CD pipeline Assist in setting automation best practices and influence automation strategies Mentor lower-level test/quality automation engineers and provide technical guidance Stay updated with the latest trends and technologies in test automation and implement improvements. Participate in innovation efforts such as AI Work towards continuous improvement in overall product quality Perform manual testing when needed

Qualifications:4+ years overall testing experience with 2-4 years in automation testing or equivalent automation training Strong proficiency in Java programming language (Core concepts) Strong understanding of software testing principles, methodologies, and best practices. API Automation: Good experience with the Karate API testing framework UI Automation: Good experience with the Selenium testing framework Experience using CI/CD tool Jenkins and building pipelines Knowledge of SQL Strong written and verbal communication skills including active listening, presenting and team building Excellent analytical, problem-solving and debugging skills, with an ability to troubleshoot and resolve complex design and issues Preference to work in a fast-paced, dynamic environment where, at times, multi-tasking is required Possess an intellectual curiosity to understand how, and why, systems function in their current state Enthusiastic about learning and acquiring new skills Experience in mentoring test automation engineers preferred Highly collaborative and adaptable with experience working in an agile methodology Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field is preferred
