Job Description

Key Responsibilities:

He is responsible to design 2-wheeler Electric vehicle body parts panels, Electronics parts casing, grab rail and all plastic and rubber parts in 2D and 3D. He is responsible to co-ordinate with vehicle integration, UX, ID and COE to ensure all plastic parts design at vehicle or system level. He will ensure all plastic parts design with required mountings and strength analysis. He is responsible for plastic and rubber parts drawings and release. He will track and release system BOM with all part and child part level. He will co-ordinate with Purchase, Sourcing, Manufacturing and service dept and ensure design release with DFMEA, DFA and DFS. He is responsible to design and release homologation drawings. He will co-ordination with various dept and lead body parts design review. He will co-ordinate with vehicle build, ID and testing team to assist vehicle build and DVP.

Desired competencies:

Candidate is having excellent engineering skills and knowledge in 2-wheeler vehicle body parts. Candidate should have hand on experience in Catia software -Type A surfaces. Candidate should have good knowledge on plastic parts design, material grade selection and manufacturing process. Candidate should able to perform base level CAE simulation and good understanding of simulation results understanding. Candidate should able to carry out required design calculation for the system. Candidate should have 2 or 3-wheeler electric vehicle system knowledge like Body parts/panels, Electronics parts enclosure, heat sinks, Grab rail, foot rest handle bar, battery pack etc., Candidates should have all system part number and BOM management skill.

Desired Experience:

Candidate is having 5-to-8 -year experience in 2-wheeler body parts design. Worked in electric vehicle is advantage. Minimum 3-year experience in Catia software.

Desired Education:

BE or Diploma in Mechanical / Automobile.
