Job Description

Supervising Construction:

Overseeing and managing construction projects from start to finish, ensuring they are completed on time, within budget, and according to specifications.

Technical Expertise:

Providing technical guidance and expertise to resolve construction-related challenges and ensuring adherence to engineering drawings, survey reports, and other technical documentation.

Quality and Safety:

Enforcing quality control measures, health, safety, and environmental standards, and implementing safety protocols on site.

Resource Management:

Planning and allocating resources, materials, and equipment to optimize project efficiency.

Budget Management:

Monitoring project costs, identifying cost-saving opportunities, and adhering to budget constraints.

Reporting and Communication:

Providing regular project updates, milestone reports, and potential risk assessments to the project manager and key stakeholders.

Coordination:

Liaising with various stakeholders, including contractors, subcontractors, and other relevant parties, ensuring smooth communication and coordination.
Qualifications:

A bachelor's degree in civil engineering or a related field is typically required. Several years of experience in site engineering or construction management, often 5-10 years or more, is essential. Strong project management skills, including the ability to plan, organize, and direct project execution. Proficiency in reading and interpreting engineering drawings and technical documents. Excellent communication, leadership, and problem-solving skills. Knowledge of relevant building codes, safety regulations, and industry standards. Experience with construction management software and tools is often preferred.
