Job Purpose (Job Summary): A Digital Engineer acts as a technical and functional expert, collaborating with business and technology stakeholders at all levels to help identify and own delivery. This position will form a key part of our delivery engineer and will work in a team-of-team model to delivery agile at scale. We are transforming the way we operate and to that note, we are looking for a super-strong and super-passionate Digital Engineer . One of our main focuses is on a maturing implementation of Adobe Experience Cloud (AEC) - specifically Adobe Experience Manager (AEM), Adobe Campaign Standard (ACS), Adobe Target (AT) and Adobe Analytics (AA). However, the main scope this role is understanding how to integrate into AEC by providing microservices via enterprise services buses while integrating onto Enterprise Content Services (ECM), Data Fabrics via modern API strategies such as MuleSoft and GraphQL. Key Responsibilities / Duties: Act as a technical and functional expert, collaborating with business and technology stakeholders at all levels to help identify and own delivery Engineering world class digital solutions with a mindset that embraces challenge and change Works within the SAFe Agile framework and employs ITIL best practices Interfaces with the Product Owner and Technology partners at the scrum level to define and estimate features for agile teams Mentors and coaches other members of the agile andor Run team Assists in production support and maintenance of applications as needed Ensure all activities are in line with Invesco's Conduct principles Work Experience / Knowledge: Prior work on best-of-breed Consumer Experience projects and show mastery of CMS solutions in general, with Adobe Experience Manager (AEM) be a distinct advantage . Must have deep Digital/CMS integration experience with the battle scars, war stories and learnings to prove it Mastery of all core web technologies including XML, XHTML, client/server-side scripting languages such as Javascript and JSP, and web services development using RESTful implementations. Experience of working on HTL/Sightly would be advantageous. all core web technologies including HTML5, CSS3, client-side scripting languages such as Javascript/ES6. Experience of working on front-end frameworks like React. Deep understanding of J ava, Java EE, Servlets, JSP, Tag libraries and JSTL skills, combined with a solid understanding of Enterprise Java frameworks such as Spring and Hibernate . Should be familiar with OSGi services as well Experience of integrating AEM with external tools like DAMs, PIMs etc. Knowledge of extending AEM's authoring interface, using the Granite framework would be advantageous Expert in end-to-end content lifecycle, web content management, content publishing/deployment, and delivery processes Exposure to API strategies and specific experience with MuleSoft Experience in sizing and performance optimisation Has proven experience delivering via DevOps Skills / Other Personal Attributes Required: Must have deep experience in business application design, development, implementation, and/or solution architecture. Strong experience with AEM 6.x would be an advantage Must have deep experience in object oriented development languages such as Java Must have strong experience in web front end development Desirable to have good experience in ecommerce development Must have strong knowledge of DevOps practices Knowledge of project management techniques is required (cross-functional experience is highly desirable) Experience with structured design, development, and implementation of new and established computing architectures Experience with multiple, diverse technical configurations, technologies, and processing environments Exceptional interpersonal skills, including teamwork, facilitation, and negotiation Translates business needs into technical architecture requirements Communicates IT requirements and guidelines to vendor partners Quickly comprehends the functions and capabilities of new technology Excellent written and oral communications skills Formal Education: Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Computer Information Systems, Business Information Systems, Engineering or related discipline or equivalent work experience and technical training is required.
