Job Description

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Senior Electrician to join our team. You will be responsible for leading complex electrical projects, troubleshooting advanced systems, and ensuring all work meets the highest safety and quality standards. The ideal candidate is a technical expert with a strong leadership background, capable of mentoring junior staff and managing on-site operations independently.

Key Responsibilities

Installation & Maintenance:

Install, maintain, and repair complex electrical systems, including wiring, circuit breakers, transformers, and control systems.

Project Leadership:

Lead on-site teams, manage project timelines, and ensure materials and labor are utilized efficiently.

Troubleshooting:

Diagnose and resolve complex electrical issues in residential, commercial, or industrial settings using advanced testing equipment.

Blueprints & Compliance:

Read and interpret technical drawings, blueprints, and schematics. Ensure all installations comply with the National Electrical Code (NEC) and local building regulations.

Safety Oversight:

Enforce strict safety protocols on-site, including Lockout/Tagout (LOTO) procedures and the use of Personal Protective Equipment (PPE).

Customer Relations:

Act as a primary point of contact for clients, providing technical advice, project updates, and cost estimates.

Mentorship:

Provide guidance and training to apprentice and journeyman electricians to help them develop their skills.

Required Qualifications

Licensure:

Valid Journeyman or Master Electrician License (State-certified).

Experience:

Minimum of 2-83years of professional electrical experience, with at least 1 years in a lead or supervisory role.

Education:

High school diploma or GED; completion of a formal apprenticeship or technical college program.

Technical Skills:

Proficient with electrical testing tools (multimeters, oscilloscopes, etc.) and power tools. Deep knowledge of NEC standards.

Physical Ability:

Ability to lift up to 50 lbs, climb ladders, work in confined spaces, and stand for long periods.

Soft Skills:

Strong problem-solving abilities, clear communication, and excellent time management.
