Senior Electrical Technician - FoundryRoles & Responsibilities

Handle

operation, maintenance, and troubleshooting

of all electrical systems in the foundry. Maintain

HT/LT panels, transformers, MCC panels, PCC panels

, and distribution boards. Ensure smooth operation of

induction furnaces, arc furnaces, ladle heaters

, and other foundry equipment. Carry out

preventive, breakdown, and corrective maintenance

of electrical machines. Diagnose and rectify faults in

motors, VFDs, soft starters, PLC panels

, and control circuits. Ensure proper functioning of

earthing systems, power factor correction panels (APFC)

, and energy meters. Supervise junior technicians and electricians; guide them during breakdowns and maintenance activities. Coordinate with production teams to minimize downtime and improve equipment availability. Ensure compliance with

electrical safety standards, statutory regulations, and lockout-tagout (LOTO)

procedures. Maintain electrical maintenance records, checklists, and breakdown reports. Assist in installation, commissioning, and modification of new electrical equipment. Monitor power consumption and support

energy-saving initiatives

. Attend emergency breakdowns during shifts and shutdown periods. Ensure proper housekeeping and safety practices in electrical areas.

Pay: ₹28,000.00 - ₹30,000.00 per month
