Job Title:

Senior Executive - Electrical & Instrumentation

Engineering / Maintenance

Reporting to:

Factory Engineering Manager

Key Responsibilities

Electrical Systems Management

+ Oversee maintenance and troubleshooting of electrical systems, panels, and distribution networks
+ Ensure compliance with safety standards and statutory regulations (CEA, IE Rules)

Instrumentation & Automation

+ Maintain and calibrate field instruments (flow meters, pressure sensors, temperature transmitters)
+ Support PLC, SCADA, and DCS systems for process control and automation

Preventive & Predictive Maintenance

+ Develop and execute maintenance schedules for electrical and instrumentation assets
+ Analyze breakdown trends and implement corrective actions

Project Execution

+ Support capex projects related to electrical and instrumentation upgrades
+ Coordinate with vendors and contractors for timely execution

Energy Management

+ Monitor energy consumption and identify opportunities for efficiency improvement
+ Support sustainability initiatives in line with HUL's environmental goals

Documentation & Compliance

+ Maintain records of calibration, maintenance, and statutory inspections
+ Ensure audit readiness for internal and external assessments

Qualifications & Skills

Education:

Diploma or B.E./B.Tech in Electrical / Instrumentation Engineering

Experience:

5-8 years in FMCG, pharma, or process industries

Skills:

+ Strong knowledge of electrical safety and instrumentation standards
+ Hands-on experience with PLC/DCS systems (Siemens, Allen Bradley, etc.)
+ Familiarity with TPM, SAP PM, and ISO standards
+ Good communication and team coordination abilities
