Purpose of the role
This is a pivotal time to be part of General Mills' Solutions Delivery organization, as we lead a global supply chain transformation across our NAT, INTL, and PET businesses through modern platforms like OMP Integrated Planning, SAP S/4, and Palantir.
As Sr. D&T Manager - Supply Chain, you will drive the Run, Improve, and Transform agenda across planning, logistics execution, and data-driven operations for GMI's global supply chain. You will lead day-to-day delivery, capability advancement, and transformation of platforms including OMP, SAP S/4, Palantir, DataOps, and AI enablement, while managing a large cross-techno-functional team across North America, INTL, and India GIC.
This role demands strong domain authority, technical depth, and strategic business partnership to deliver scalable impact across our end-to-end supply chain. You will collaborate with senior global leaders and play a pivotal role in shaping the digital supply chain of the future.
In this role, you will partner with senior leaders across Supply Chain, Planning, Commercial, Digital Platform, and Data & Analytics, and work closely with our India GIC leadership to shape the future of General Mills' digital supply chain. You will bring strong domain expertise, lead cross-functional agile teams, act as a technical SME, and serve as a strategic delivery leader across the enterprise.
KEY ACCOUNTABILITIES

• As the Sr. D&T Manager - Supply Chain Planning, Logistics & Execution and End to End POD, you will be accountable for end-to-end solution delivery, operations, and transformation across global planning, deployment, and logistics platforms. You will be the central leader driving value realization, operational maturity, and technology innovation across the GMI Supply Chain ecosystem.

Platform Leadership & Transformation
o Own delivery and transformation of key platforms: OMP (Planning), SAP S/4 (Logistics), Palantir (Execution), Data Ops, through differential MillsWorks 2.0 (Product Platform model) ways of working.
o Deliver capabilities aligned with our Run-Improve-Transform operating model, accelerating backlog execution and platform stability.
o Lead global enhancements and intelligent automation across planning and execution value streams.
o Drive development and deployment of AI/ML use cases, scenario simulators, and self-healing workflows in logistics and deployment.
o Lead and deliver optimum solutions focussed on existing Supply chain solution portfolio.
Team & Operational Ownership
o Lead a global team, including across India GIC and global markets supporting supply chain portfolio
o Provide strategic direction, coaching, and talent development, fostering strong leadership and capability growth within the team.
o Champion the India GIC as a strategic hub for transformation, platform delivery, and process innovation.
o Ensure operational excellence through measurable KPIs, SLAs, and observability metrics for platforms and support models.
Supply Chain Domain Enablement
o Act as a domain authority and technical SME for planning, deployment, and logistics execution processes.
o Lead delivery of enhancements and optimizations across Load Levelling, Push Optimizer, OMP Priority Grouping, and deployment strategies.
o Support integration of SAP, OMP, Palantir, and other tools to enable seamless, automated workflows.
o Translate supply chain KPIs into data models and dashboards for execution teams and business users.
Business Partnership & Strategy Execution
o Collaborate with senior stakeholders across Planning, Logistics, Commercial, Platform, and Data & Analytics teams to align technology with strategic goals.
o Drive platform strategy, value roadmaps, and delivery plans that tie directly to business growth, cost efficiency, and service performance.
o Align D&T delivery with strategic supply chain priorities across NAR, INTL, PET, and Commercial teams
o Influence senior stakeholders and participate in forums/councils to prioritize capability investment
o Represent D&T in global supply chain transformation initiatives, bringing outside-in perspective
o Represent D&T in cross-functional forums, capability councils, and global reviews, advocating for platform maturity, funding, and prioritization.
o Lead Incubation and drive AI driven use cases for supply chain through
MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS

• Bachelor's degree in engineering or a related field
• 10-14 years of progressive experience in Supply Chain, Planning & Logistics Solutions management/Operations within FMCG or related industries
• Master's degree / MBA preferred, with a focus on Operations, Analytics, or Technology Management
• Proven track record of leading end-to-end supply chain planning and execution programs, including Demand, Supply, Deployment, Logistics Execution, and Customer Fulfilment
• Demonstrated success in global transformation programs, especially those involving digital supply chains or platform-based delivery models
• Experience managing large, cross-functional, and geographically dispersed teams (20+ members), including architects, analysts, and delivery leads
• Deep understanding of analytics tools (e.g., Power BI, Tableau, SQL) and strong ability to interpret data and drive decision-making through visualization
• Proven budget ownership experience - managing OPEX/CAPEX, vendor budgets, and resource planning to ensure cost-effective execution
• Expertise in SAP S/4 Hana with cloud platforms and data pipelines, and integrations across enterprise systems (e.g., SAP ? OMP ? Data Lake ? Palantir) with knowledge of End to End
• Strategic thinker with structured problem-solving skills and ability to operate effectively in complex, matrixed organizations
• Demonstrated success influencing cross-functional stakeholders across Business, Product, and technical teams
• Strong executive presence, communication, and storytelling skills with comfort presenting to senior leadership
• Proven ability to build and mentor high-performing teams, develop mid-level leaders, and lead capability building at scale
• Self-motivated and resilient, with a test-and-learn mindset and experience driving innovation and change in ambiguous environments

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS

• Global Leadership & Governance

Experience working in multinational, cross-functional teams across both developed and emerging markets

• Familiarity with global operating models, regional governance, and integrated supply networks (e.g., regional hubs feeding global nodes)
• Proven ability to navigate global supply chain governance structures, stakeholder councils, and cross-border transformations * Certifications & Industry Expertise

Certifications such as PMP, APICS/CSCP, or Lean Six Sigma preferred

• Prior experience with Tier-1 consulting firms or supply chain advisory partners is a plus
• Recognized for leading continuous improvement or cost-to-serve optimization initiatives * Domain & Platform Experience

FMCG industry experience preferred, with exposure to multi-region operations (North America, Europe, Asia)

• Strong understanding of network optimization, deployment strategies, inventory models, and logistics KPIs (e.g., OTIF, Fill Rate)
• Hands-on experience with SAP S/4HANA (TM, SD, MM), OMP, Kinaxis, Blue Yonder, or other advanced planning platforms
• Familiarity with AI/ML use cases, digital twins, and intelligent automation in logistics or planning
• Working knowledge of cloud-native platforms like GCP, Azure, or Snowflake and associated AI/ML tools * Digital & Agile Transformation

Experience in product/platform operating models (e.g., MillsWorks 2.0), Agile PODs, or Run-Improve-Transform frameworks

• Demonstrated ability to lead platform transformation or POC-to-scale innovation initiatives
• Understanding of integration/API-based architecture between ERP, planning, and execution systems
