Purpose of the role
This is an exciting time to be part of General Mills' Solutions Delivery organization!
We are accelerating the Digital Transformation of Supply Chain business processes to drive smarter, faster, and value-focused decisions. To support this mission, we are looking for a Sr D&T Analyst with a passion for process optimization, data enablement, and metric automation to join our D&T Supply Chain Business Process Management (BPM) Solutions Delivery team.
The BPM D&T team works in close partnership with business stakeholders to build scalable data foundations, deliver automated and trusted metrics, and enable decision support capabilities across key process areas like LCF (Logistics, Customer & Order Fulfillment) and MaKE (Manufacturing & E2E Enablement). We leverage platforms like GCP, Alation, Azure DevOps, and custom-built BPM portals (.net Based) to operationalize insights and create visibility into the health of our supply chain processes.
Key focus areas for this role include:
Providing technical consultation on the tools, platforms, and cloud-based data pipelines that enable BPM metric automation and governance. Acting as a champion and enabler for data-driven process decisions through BPM Portals, metric nodes, and stakeholder training. Leading metric development, from user story creation to deployment and training, while ensuring alignment to GMI's Digital Supply Chain vision.
KEY ACCOUNTABILITIES
Drive BPM initiatives across and perform Run and Improve tasks in the role of a data analyst in key supply chain processes (LCF/MaKE) by enabling automated, accurate, and scalable performance metrics.
Serve as the technical SME for BPM digital tools, portals, and metric repositories; provide insights and recommendations to drive decision-making across Supply Chain operations.
Define and manage user stories in Azure DevOps (ADO); translate business requirements into technical solutions aligned with GMI's Digital Supply Chain goals
Lead development and implementation of metric nodes, process documents, and user training in the BPM Portal for end-to-end metric visibility as a D&T analyst.
Drive projects along Supply Chain business processes; Work with SAP teams, ML engineers in the Product Platform model. Lead the team with deep knowledge into Planning and Deployment Supply chain areas
Partner with cross-functional PODs to proactively identify metric gaps, process constraints, and opportunities for automation and simplification.
Collaborate with data governance teams to align on metric definitions, data sources, and lineage documentation using tools like Alation and Collibra.
Act as the primary liaison between BPM business stakeholders and D&T architects to ensure alignment on data models
Participate in Agile PODs and drive delivery cadence with cross-functional teams.
