Purpose of the role
This is an exciting time to work in General Mills' Supply Chain & ITQ Organization! We are accelerating Digital Transformation of our Product Information Capabilities (PIC) capabilities to provide a competitive advantage to our business. To this end, we are looking for a D&T Associate Analyst, with passion for Product Information Management (PIM) and (Master Data Management) MDM to join our Product Information Capabilities team.
The PIM / MDM Engineering team requires agile team members who can support ecommerce by creating the systems of records and developing rightful integrations which would help in sourcing, validating, publishing, and quality checking the data that our customers use to create the digital shelf and our product's detail pages. This would need a team which is well versed with managing Product Master Data. The vision is to expand the platform further to benefit other business areas
KEY ACCOUNTABILITIES
Collaborate with Product Owner & D&T Solution Managers to shape the end-to-end product strategy and determine business value along the Product Information Management and MDM space
Play an active role in portfolio/Product development from conception to launch.
Identify opportunities for process improvements and establish best practices which can be applied along PIM/MDM
Ensure best practices and standards are being followed and solution is aligned with global vision of Product Information capabilities team
Analysis of PIM data and helping stakeholders generate useful insights
Support implementation of designed solution by working closely with the developer community; Ensure high quality testing of the solution implemented through using new age tools and techniques
Manage stakeholder expectations and communication
Engage with business for their internal systems, processes, documentation and identify/execute opportunities like automations, redundancy, modernization, usage of latest tech stack and low-code no-code platforms.
Working in an International, multi-cultural environment
Good problem-solving skills, bias for action, decisive, strong time management skills
MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS

  • Education - Full time graduation from an accredited university (Mandatory- Note: This is the minimum education criteria which cannot be altered); Bachelors in Computer (BE or BSc) or STEM fields is preferred
  • Experience of implementing PIM, MDM having integration with platforms like ERP (preferably SAP), Artwork tools, Data syndication tools like Syndigo, Informatica etc.
  • Experience in Stibo or a similar other platform
  • Experience to GSDN standards
  • Strong experience in working in an Agile environment
  • Strong attention to details and data quality orientation
  • Strong Business Analysis Skills
  • Experience with PIM workflows, data quality error analysis and workbench error resolution
  • Exposure to Digital Shelf and Publication processes
  • Experience with Data Syndication processes
  • Experience of working in the CPG sector or similar industry
