Key Roles & Responsibilities
1. Develop & Implement Digital Marketing Strategies
Craft and execute comprehensive digital strategies aligned with institutional goals.
Utilize SEO/SEM, content marketing, email marketing, and social media to drive engagement and increase student enquiries.
Study market trends, student behaviour, competitor activities, and demand patterns to shape strategy.
Identify opportunities to expand the college's digital footprint and strengthen brand presence.
2. Lead & Optimize Digital Campaigns
Plan, manage, and optimize multi-channel campaigns across Google Ads, Meta Ads, YouTube, LinkedIn, and education portals.
Monitor lead quality, cost per lead, and ROI to continuously improve campaign efficiency.
Track and manage enquiries from digital channels and work with admissions teams for conversion.
Use performance data to adjust and enhance campaign strategies in real time.
3. Advanced SEO Management (High Priority)
Conduct detailed keyword research for academic programs, admissions, and institutional visibility.
Improve ranking for program pages, departmental pages, and the overall website.
Implement on-page, off-page, and technical SEO best practices.
Create and manage SEO-driven content including blogs, articles, student stories, and event updates.
Strengthen local SEO to improve visibility on Google Maps and local search results.
Track, analyse, and report SEO performance monthly.
4. Website & Content Management
Oversee updates of academic programs, admission guidelines, placements, and events on the website.
Ensure accuracy, consistency, and SEO optimization across all pages.
Improve landing page UI/UX to increase enquiries and applications.
Collaborate with designers and developers to maintain an attractive and user-friendly website.
5. Content Creation & Creative Design
Collaborate with internal teams to create high-quality, engaging content that aligns with brand messaging.
Design digital assets using
Adobe Photoshop, Illustrator, Canva
, and other tools.
Create banners, posters, brochures, social media creatives, videos, and promotional materials.
Ensure all content reflects the college's branding and institutional standards.
6. Social Media Strategy & Management
Plan and execute impactful social media calendars and platform-specific content.
Highlight achievements, campus life, research, placements, and academic activities.
Monitor engagement, grow followers, and respond promptly to queries and comments.
Manage video content, reels, and live event coverage.
7. Analytics, Insights & Reporting
Monitor digital performance across SEO, website traffic, PPC, social media, and email campaigns.
Prepare weekly/monthly reports for management with actionable insights.
Use data-driven findings to recommend improvements in strategy, content, and campaigns.
Track the full student enquiry-to-admission journey and enhance conversion funnel.
8. Cross-Functional Collaboration & Team Leadership
Work closely with admissions, placements, HR, academic departments, and IT teams.
Align marketing activities with institutional priorities and seasonal cycles.
Provide guidance and mentorship to junior digital staff, interns, and freelancers.
Coordinate with external agencies to ensure timely delivery of campaigns and creative work.
9. Stay Updated with Industry Trends
Keep track of emerging digital tools, trends, and technologies.
Experiment with new platforms, ad formats, and strategies to maintain a competitive edge.
Apply industry best practices to continuously enhance digital performance.
Requirements
Bachelor's or Master's degree in Marketing, Digital Marketing, Media, or related fields.
4-7 years of experience
in digital marketing, preferably in educational institutions.
Strong expertise in
branding, SEO, SEM, social media, and performance marketing
.
Proficient in
Photoshop, Illustrator, Canva
, and other design tools.
Experience with Google Analytics, Search Console, SEMRush, Ads Manager, etc.
Ability to run and optimize Google Ads, Meta Ads, and PPC campaigns.
Excellent communication, creativity, leadership, and analytical skills.
Ability to work in a fast-paced academic environment and manage multiple projects.
