Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled and experienced DevOps Engineer to join our growing technology team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in both Microsoft Azure and Google Cloud Platform (GCP) and will be responsible for designing, implementing, and maintaining our CI/CD pipelines, cloud infrastructure, and deployment automation. You will play a crucial role in enhancing the reliability, scalability, and efficiency of our systems by bridging the gap between software development and IT operations.

Key Responsibilities

Infrastructure Management:

Design, provision, and manage scalable and secure cloud infrastructure on both

Azure

and

GCP

using Infrastructure as Code (IaC) principles.

CI/CD Pipeline Automation:

Develop, manage, and optimize continuous integration and continuous delivery (CI/CD) pipelines for our applications using tools like Azure DevOps, Jenkins, or GitLab CI.

Containerization:

Implement and manage containerized applications using

Docker

and container orchestration platforms like

Kubernetes

(AKS, GKE).

Automation:

Automate deployment, monitoring, and infrastructure management tasks using scripting languages such as

Bash, Python, or PowerShell

.

Monitoring & Operations:

Implement robust monitoring, logging, and alerting solutions (e.g., Prometheus, Grafana, Azure Monitor, Google Cloud's operations suite) to ensure system reliability and performance.

Collaboration:

Work closely with development, quality assurance, and operations teams to streamline workflows, resolve issues, and ensure smooth and timely releases.

Security:

Implement and enforce security best practices for cloud infrastructure and application deployments, ensuring compliance with industry standards.

Required Skills and Qualifications

Experience:

A minimum of

4+ years

of hands-on experience in a DevOps, SRE, or similar role.

Cloud Proficiency:

Proven, in-depth experience working with both

Microsoft Azure

and

Google Cloud Platform (GCP)

. This includes services like Azure App Service, VMs, AKS, Azure SQL, GCE, GKE, and Cloud SQL.

CI/CD Tools:

Strong proficiency with CI/CD tools such as

Azure DevOps, Jenkins, GitLab CI, or CircleCI

.

Infrastructure as Code (IaC):

Expertise with IaC tools like

Terraform

is essential. Experience with ARM templates or Google Cloud Deployment Manager is a plus.

Containerization:

Solid experience with

Docker

and

Kubernetes

for application deployment and management.

Scripting:

Proficiency in at least one scripting language, such as

Python, Bash, or PowerShell

.

Version Control:

Expert knowledge of Git and Git-based workflows (e.g., GitFlow).

Education:

Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field, or equivalent practical experience.

Preferred Qualifications

Professional certifications in Azure (e.g., Azure DevOps Engineer Expert) or GCP (e.g., Professional Cloud DevOps Engineer). Experience with configuration management tools like Ansible, Puppet, or Chef. Familiarity with service mesh technologies (e.g., Istio, Linkerd). Strong understanding of networking concepts (VPC, subnets, firewalls, DNS).

Pay: ₹652,752.95 - ₹2,046,996.78 per year
