HiGreetings of the Day.We have a critical opening with our client for Sr Devops and Cloud Engineer role for Pune/Gurugram location.Experience : 3 to 10 yrsLocation: Pune/Gurugram- WFOMode of Employment:ContractJob description1. Collaborate with Product development and Innovation teams to understand application and engineering requirements and build out efficient deployment pipelines.
2.Deep understanding of Cloud Platforms and Cloud Solutions/Services, and especially Cloud PaaS services, with a primary focus on Azure Cloud and secondary expertise in AWS Cloud.
3.Deep understanding of Compute, Networking, Storage, Security, Identity, Authentication, Role-Based Access Control, and other cloud services on at least one major public cloud.
4.Ability to configure and set up integrated Non-Production and Production Environments, leveraging multiple cloud platforms and services.
5.Develop and maintain end-to-end CI/CD pipelines using GITHub Actions, Azure DevOps, Brigade.js, and other CI/CD tools.
6.Ability to setup CI/CD processes for applications written in both Python and Node.js / JavaScript
7.Ability to setup CI/CD processes for both front-end / UI and back-end / API / micro services deployments
8.Ability to configure and manage dev-to-deploy lifecycle and route-to-live for multiple applications, including Web Apps, Serverless Apps, APIs, Micro Services, Workflows, and Integration Apps.
9.Develop and maintain version control systems (e.g., Git) and implement best practices for code collaboration, branching, and merging.
10.Design and maintain containerization solutions using tools like Docker.
11.Orchestrate containerized applications using Kubernetes (Nice-to-have)
12.Strong expertise in Automation across all aspects of DevOps
13.Automate manual processes using scripting languages (e.g., Python, Bash) and infrastructure as code using Terraform.
14.Good understanding of Infrastructure as Code (IaC) and its use for infrastructure automation
15.Monitor and manage cloud infrastructure in terms of operations, performance, cost efficiency, security, and observability.
16.Deep understanding of observability platforms and monitoring/dashboarding tools such as Azure App Insights, Azure Monitor, etc.
17.Hands-on experience with integrating cloud infrastructure and PaaS services with Identity Management (IAM/IDM) and Authentication/Authorization Platforms (Azure AAD, Microsoft Entra, Okta Identity Server, etc.)
18.Troubleshoot and resolve infrastructure and deployment issues promptly
19.Implement DevSecOps and security best practices to protect data and systems
20.Maintain and improve system and platform documentation
21.Stay up-to-date with industry trends and emerging technologies in the DevOps field.Qualifications:

• Bachelors/master's degree in computer science, Information Systems, or a related field.
• Minimum 3 years of experience working in Microsoft Environment with Azure functions and architectures.
• One or more certifications, such as Amazon Web Services Certified DevOps Engineer or Microsoft Certified DevOps Engineer Expert
