Position Summary:
We are seeking a
highly skilled Designer - Flares
with
5 to 15+ years of experience
in
3D modeling, layout design, and detailing
within the
oil and gas sector
.
The ideal candidate will have strong technical expertise in
AutoCAD and Autodesk Inventor
(with CADWorx experience as an added advantage) and a proven ability to design, detail, and deliver
flare systems
and associated structures with precision and quality.
Key Roles and Responsibilities:
Analyze project specifications and requirements related to
layout and 3D modeling
in the oil and gas sector, ensuring adherence to industry standards and best practices.
Design and detail
flare packages
, including
equipment, piping, support structures, and pipe racks
, ensuring technical accuracy and design efficiency.
Develop
comprehensive fabrication and construction drawings
-- including part drawings, assemblies, general arrangements, sectional views, and detailed layouts.
Utilize
AutoCAD
and
Autodesk Inventor
proficiently for 2D and 3D design work;
experience with CADWorx
will be considered an advantage.
Collaborate closely with
lead engineers
to refine and finalize project drawings, models, and documentation.
Coordinate effectively with
other designers and cross-functional teams
to maintain high-quality outputs and ensure timely project delivery.
Prepare, review, and validate
general arrangement drawings, foundation layouts, fabrication drawings, and piping isometrics
in compliance with engineering standards and client requirements.
Ensure adherence to
relevant codes, safety regulations, and client specifications
throughout all design activities.
Assist in identifying and resolving design-related challenges by liaising with engineers, vendors, and multidisciplinary teams.
Maintain
organized records of all drawings, revisions, and project documentation
, ensuring version control and traceability.
Perform
additional responsibilities
as assigned to support overall project and organizational objectives.
Qualifications and Requirements:
5 to 15+ years
of experience in
3D modeling, layout design, and detailing
within the
oil and gas industry

Strong proficiency in
AutoCAD
and
Autodesk Inventor
