The Senior Interior Designer is a highly experienced interior designer responsible for managing multiple projects ranging from small to large sized projects of basic to complex scope with minimal supervision delivering all the aspects for a space.

This Senior Interior Designer is responsible for the highest level of Interior Design outcomes, completing projects with accuracy and creativity while monitoring project performance within contract hours and meeting or exceeding customer expectations.
The Senior Designer will demonstrate a high level of professional integrity by taking pride, ownership and responsibility for own work as well as team member's work. They will set high expectations, for self and team and pushes to achieve them.

Job duties and responsibilities
Gain knowledge from Sales person to determine the client's goals and requirements of the project.
Confer with client to determine factors affecting planning interior environment such as budget architectural preferences, purpose and function.
Advice on interior design factors, such as space planning, layout and utilization of furnishings and equipment, and color coordination.
Evaluating issues such as pricing and fixing costs, fashion, purchasing, safety, materials and manufacturing methods and techniques.
Sketch preliminary and sample design plans, including electrical layouts using software packages such as AutoCad, Google Sketch up and 3D Max, Photoshop etc.
Specify materials and furnishings, such as lighting, furniture, wall finishes, flooring, etc.
Studying, researching and planning various styles of furniture design.
Finding ways to improve furniture items already manufactured.
Keeping informed about design trends and developments.
Discussing designs with clients for custom ordering or with manufacturers.
Prepare final plans, using computer applications.
Create a timeline for the interior design project and estimate project costs.
Organizing plans and schedules with respect to the availability of resources.
Place orders for materials and oversee installing the design elements.
Liaising with craftsmen or production department staff - such as production managers, marketing staff and design engineers - about the process of construction or manufacture.
Visit after the project to ensure that the client is satisfied.
Attending workshops, seminars and training on manufacturing and furniture design.
Participation in Certification exams in designing will be preferred.
Artistic, creativity and Visualization ability would be expected as part of job.
Consistently bringing great, fresh ideas to the team that are project appropriate, captures the look and attitude and articulates why they feel it meets the needs.
Actively produces/outputs high-level tasks and deliverables on multiple projects.
Keeps open communication with all team members, monitoring work, lending feedback, redlining corrections and reiterating/teaching the approved processes and procedures that are to be followed.
Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities
Adequate knowledge of Auto CAD, Google Sketchup, Microsoft Office, Photoshop
Responds in a logical and rational manner under stress or/and pressure.
Comfortable stepping up and taking action when needs arise; decision-maker
Motivated to succeed and always seek opportunity for improvement of self and team in improving knowledge, expertise and industry awareness

Required qualifications
Knowledge of softwares like auto cad, google sketchup & 3dsmax.
Knowledge of MS office, making documents , design strategies
Preferred qualifications
Education
Bachelor or Master's in Architecture/ Interior Design
Experience
4+ years as a professional architect /interior designer
Demonstrated project management experience
Self-motivation and self-direction; willingness to take direction.
Working conditions -
9/10 hours a day
Travel across to any city for site visits or client meetings
Stay late hours for meetings/ work
