Job Summary:

We are looking for a skilled and experienced Lead Design Engineer ( Sr Profile) with atleast 15-20 years

of experience in Transmission Line projects (132 kV to 765 kV). The ideal candidate should possess

strong technical knowledge in design, detailing, and analysis of transmission line components and

foundation structures.

Key Responsibilities:

? Transmission Line Design:

o Perform complete design and analysis of transmission lines (up to 765 kV),

including route alignment, tower spotting, profile drawing, and tower optimization.

o Structural design and detailing of towers (lattice/monopole) using software like

PLS-CADD, PLS-TOWER, STAAD PRO.

o Conductor and ground wire sag-tension calculations.

? Engineering Drawings & Documentation:

o Prepare and review engineering drawings (tower GA, shop drawings, BOM,

stringing charts).

o To review MDC of PLS Output an excel spreadsheet is developed. client

specification DBR, sag-tension calculation, loading calculation, clearance diagram,

TSD are prepared

o Check and approve fabrication drawings from vendors.

? Technical Evaluation:

o Evaluate technical offers and provide engineering support during bidding and

execution stages.

o Prepare technical specifications and design basis reports.

? Coordination & Teamwork:

o Liaise with project management, procurement, and construction teams to ensure

design integrity and project timelines.

o Interact with clients and consultants for approvals and technical discussions.

Key Skills Required:

? Strong expertise in PLS-CADD, PLS-Tower, SAG10, AutoCAD, and MS Office.

? In-depth understanding of transmission line materials, tower loading, and design

standards.

? Experience in GIS-based route alignment and terrain analysis is a plus.

? Good communication skills and ability to lead junior engineers and draftsmen.

? Ability to work independently and in a team in a deadline-driven environment.

Education Qualification:

? B.E./B.Tech/Diploma in Civil /Mechanical Engineering from a reputed institution.

? M.Tech in Structural Engineering (preferred but not mandatory).

Job Types: Full-time, Permanent

Pay: ₹450,156.06 - ₹1,681,753.85 per year
