Job Description

Design / work experience in marine industry with understanding of structures design codes / norms, strength calculations, hydrodynamics and hydrostatic calculations and use of 3D CAD design tools. Proficiency in Ansys preferred. Proficiency in MS office and Autocad is essential. Knowledge/ experience of working in 3D CAD-PLM environment is preferable. Strong technical & communication skills. Shall possess adequate communication skills for interacting with different groups, Interpersonal Skills, Problem Solving & Creativity. Should have the experience of handling a team of engineers. Technical Knowledge about Marine Structures, strength calculations, hydrodynamics and hydrostatic calculations. Understanding of structures design codes / norms. Prepare design documents for underwater platform under the guidance of Naval officers. Shall be working with a team of Design engineers, and CAD assistants, under Naval design officers and Team Leaders. Broad responsibilities: - Preparation of Structural documents, Calculation documents for Submarine, Management of design data and workflows towards finalization of design in CAD-PLM environment.
