We are seeking an experienced Senior Designer with strong expertise in die casting and mechanical design, specifically in valves and pumps. The candidate should have in-depth technical knowledge, hands-on design experience, and the ability to work in compliance with international engineering standards.
Key Responsibilities & Requirements:
Extensive hands-on experience in
Pressure Die Casting (PDC)
and
Gravity Die Casting (GDC)
processes
Strong expertise in
die design and die calculations
, including part feasibility, tooling concepts, and optimization for manufacturability
Proven experience in
designing valves and pumps
, covering component detailing, assemblies, and performance requirements
In-depth knowledge of
API and ASME standards
, with demonstrated experience in designing products strictly in compliance with these standards
Ability to interpret, apply, and ensure adherence to
API and ASME codes, specifications, and compliance requirements
throughout the design lifecycle
Experience in preparing and reviewing detailed engineering drawings, technical documentation, and design calculations
Coordination with manufacturing, quality, and cross-functional teams to ensure design feasibility and compliance.
Software Proficiency:
AutoCAD
- for 2D drafting and detailing
SolidWorks
- for 3D modeling, assemblies, and simulations
IDEA StatiCa
- for design calculations and validation
ProVIC
- for design and engineering analysis
