Job Description

Role: Design Engineer

Experience Required: 2 to 6 years

Qualification: B.E. Mechanical (2019-2023 batch only)

Location: Anna Salai, Chennai

Industry: Indian MNC - Process Equipment

Compensation: Up to ₹7 LPA

Work Schedule: 5 days a week

Key Responsibilities

Perform

mechanical and thermal calculations

for process equipment. Conduct

design checks and validation of heat exchangers

. Prepare and review engineering documentation, drawings, and reports. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure compliance with industry standards and project requirements. Optimize designs for efficiency, safety, and cost-effectiveness. Support manufacturing and quality teams during production and testing phases.
Required Skills & Expertise

Strong knowledge of

heat exchanger design principles

. Proficiency in

mechanical and thermal analysis

of process equipment. Hands-on expertise in

design software tools

such as

SolidWorks

and

Viz

. Ability to interpret engineering drawings and technical specifications. Good problem-solving, analytical, and communication skills.
Candidate Profile

B.E. Mechanical graduates (2019-2023 pass-outs only). 2-6 years of relevant industry experience. Strong technical foundation with exposure to process equipment design. Self-motivated, detail-oriented, and capable of working in a team environment.
