Conduct
Draft Analysis
of components for manufacturability and mould feasibility.
Perform and interpret
Mould Flow Analysis
to optimize mould design and reduce defects.
Collaborate with
design, production, and quality teams
to ensure tool accuracy and performance.
Troubleshoot issues in existing moulds and provide corrective solutions.
Plan preventive maintenance schedules for tools and moulds to maximize tool life.
Ensure all tooling activities adhere to
quality standards, safety guidelines, and timelines
.
Maintain documentation related to mould design, modifications, and approvals.
Guide and train junior engineers or tool room technicians in technical areas.
Strong technical expertise in mould
designing, making, tool design and tool room operations
.
Prior experience in
automotive plastic components / injection moulding industry
.
Exposure to
DFM (Design for Manufacturing)
Knowledge of
ISO/ IATF 16949 quality systems
.
Proficient in
Draft Analysis
Knowledge of
CAD software (UG NX, AutoCAD etc.)
.
Problem-solving mindset with excellent
analytical and troubleshooting skills
.
Ability to handle multiple projects with strict deadlines.
