Designation: Sr. Design Engineer

Education: BE / ME Mechanical

Experience - 5 to 8 Years

Salary - As per Industry

Job location: Pune (Pirangut)

Facilities :- Transport, Canteen, 5 days Working

Industry Area :

Heavy Fabrication / Oil & Gas Industry (MNC)

Required Technical Competency :-

1. Expertise in Autodesk Inventor 3D Modeling & Drafting, AutoCAD, Steel Structure detailing.

2.Knowledge of Bolted steel structure 3D modeling 3.Expertise in sheet metal design.

3.Knowledge of Welding, ERP.

4.Ability to read & understand structure design reports.

5.Accountability and ownership of tasks.

6.Adaptability and willingness to learn.

7. Problem-solving mindset.

Roles:

1. Create & update 3D Model, detailed drawing, BOM, Manual as per customer specification.

Responsibilities:

2. Input consolidation & Reading customer specification

3. 3-D model creation & updating.

4. 3-D model creation of electrical layout.

5. 3-D model creation of tube & pipe layout.

6. Participating in Design Review Meeting (DRM)

7. Clarification of customer's query

8. Raise NCR for process deviation by others.

9. Close NCR with CAPA & Why-Why analysis, raised on Design.

10. General Arrangement / Assembly / foundation drawings creation / Electrical Drawings.

11. Preliminary BOM preparation.

12. Concurrence with other departments for issue resolution.

13. Workshop drawing creation, revision & release.

14. Item code creation in ERP

15. Final ERP BOM creation & release

16. Documentation Monitoring & review

17. Standardization & Updating Work Instructions

18. Preparation of Installation, operation & Maintenance (IOM) manual.

19. Creation of DOP (Declaration of performance)

20. Independent Project Handling

21. Follow established quality, environmental, and health & safety procedures.

22. Participate in training and maintain awareness of their impact.

23. Report nonconformities, hazards, unsafe acts, or environmental concerns.

24. Use PPE and ensure safe work practices.
