General Mills India Center (GIC) operates out of Mumbai and supports the global operations of General Mills. The center was established in 2005 and has grown in strength. Job Overview
Role: Sr. Consultant \xe2\x80\x93 SDET
Location: Mumbai

• The Sr. Consultant for SDET will be responsible for developing and executing automation strategies for the Flutter mobile app, and leading a team of SDET engineers to ensure high-quality releases.
• They will also be responsible for identifying and fixing vulnerabilities through VAPT, analysing and tracking crashes through Crashlytics, and monitoring user behaviour through Google Analytics.
• Additionally, they will be responsible for setting up and maintaining a device farm using tools such as BrowserStack, and continuously improving the automation framework.

Role Responsibilities

• Develop and execute test automation strategy for Flutter mobile app testing
• Lead and mentor a team of SDET engineers in creating and executing automated test suites
• Develop and maintain automated tests for mobile apps built on Flutter using testing frameworks like Flutter Driver, Flutter Integration Tests and Appium
• Collaborate with the development team to improve overall test coverage and ensure high-quality releases.
• Set up and manage device farms like BrowserStack for automated testing on multiple platforms.
• Work on performance testing using tools like JMeter to identify and address performance bottlenecks.
• Assist with low intensity development tasks like fixing minor bugs and upgrading dependencies and frameworks.
• Evaluate development work from VAPT (Vulnerability Assessment and Penetration Testing) reports and ensure remediation of identified vulnerabilities.
• Monitor trending issues on Crashlytics and raise alarms to the development team wherever necessary.
• Participate in code reviews, design reviews, and other activities that support the development team\'s goals
• Continuously learn and stay up-to-date with emerging testing technologies and best practices
• Contribute to the development and maintenance of the automation framework and related infrastructure.

Must - have technical skills and experience

• Flutter integration testing for an enterprise level cross-platform application
• Worked with setting up CI/CD pipelines for automation testing

Good to have skills

• Exposure to device farms like BrowserStack, Firebase TestLab, etc.
• Understanding of VAPT reports
• Exposure to Crashlytics and Google Analytics
• Working experience with JMeter
• Working experience with Selenium and Appium based test setups
