Job Description

Our SAP Service Line is currently looking for industry-leading seasoned SAP GTS professionals with hands-on experience in S4 HANA implementation.

The shortlisted candidate should have the ability to analyze technical needs and work with the customers to develop project scope of work documents and Project Plans. This role will also help determine business needs and design & deliver technical solutions for these areas. The delivery of Sales systems including project delivery, system configuration, and enhancement plus production support in alignment with West D&T and company policies and procedures will be your focus

You are required to have skills in the following areas:

  • Possesses a solid understanding of overall vision and business needs and utilizes specialized expertise to collaborate with Sales and Operations to define detailed User Stories for D&T enablement of business needs. This includes interpreting any issues and recommending solutions or best practices.
  • Utilizes knowledge of best practices to help define strategic direction, help determine business needs, and design & deliver technical solutions for SD, in partnership with Application and Infrastructure.
  • Essential core member of agile sprint team(s) to configure and develop optimal technical solutions/features.
  • Provide technical delivery of functionality to meet defined business requirements as described in User Stories.
  • Provide system support and maintenance in alignment with standards and processes set within the ERP Services Delivery model, West policies and procedures as well as Regulatory requirements including but not limited to Sarbanes-Oxley and FDA GMP.
  • Running daily team scrums, root cause analysis, and knowledge transfers for the teams. Ensure KT and relevant documentation for the people on move in the team.
  • To provide the necessary contribution to the new implementation of the SAP S4 Hana transformation program and global SAP SD operation team.
  • Work closely with business key users and the integration leads for SAP Implementation, Gaps, and Incident Management.
  • Provide guidance to the SAP team on overall SAP design and architecture as well as subject matter expertise in SAP SD and related integration.
  • Work within and participates in the Change Control process.
  • Conform with and abide by all regulations, policies, work procedures, instructions, and all safety rules.
  • Exhibit regular, reliable, punctual, and predictable attendance.
  • Other duties as assigned by the Manager or by the organization.
  • Create and maintain system lifecycle documents in accordance with West policies and procedures, including creation and maintenance of UAT, PQ Execution, SOPs, SOIs and Job Aids.
  • Work within and participates in the Change Control process.

GTS Skill Sets
  • Expert in GTS Configuration, Compliance, and customs management
  • SPL and Embargo, License Determination, and Product classification
  • Customs Export, import process, trade Documentation
  • Classification files upload for customs management
  • Comprehensive knowledge of delivering cross-border trade solutions, with substantial SAP experience utilizing GTS, MM, SD, Logistics Execution processes.
  • Work experience in Intrastate Reporting for the European region
  • Understanding of Risk Management.
Education and Experience:
  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience in Computer Science or Electronics and communication or Information Systems
  • 6 to 10 years of related work experience, i.e. 2 or more full implementations of SAP SD solutions
  • Preferred but not required: SAP Order fulfillment certification, Agile & Scrum Certification, ITIL
Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:
  • Solid SAP skills - system functionality and technical understanding of SD and related areas (LE, WD, GTS)
  • Must be up to date on the latest ERP release.
  • Strong HANA knowledge preferred
  • Ability to work in a virtual environment in a global organization and to effectively prioritize and execute tasks in a high-pressure environment.
  • Able to be aware of all relevant SOPs as per Company policy as they are related to the position covered by this
  • Support and contribute to Lean Sigma programs and activities toward the delivery of the set target
  • Able to always comply with the company's safety and quality policy
