Position Summary

As an Application Consultant in the Kalypso Oracle Practice based in Pune, India, you will work on a globally based team supporting Oracle Cloud Supply Chain Management projects for clients primarily in the US and EMEA. You will be helping them apply leading practice Supply Chain capabilities to challenging business problems. Our focus is on helping clients extract business value from the Oracle Cloud Supply Chain solutions, not just on making the technology work. In this hands-on role, you will help deliver Oracle Cloud solutions for a diverse set of clients in industries such as Manufacturing, Life Sciences, High Tech, Consumer Goods and Retail. You will also help grow the practice by mentoring and leading junior members on the team and guiding them on leading practices in the implementation of Oracle Cloud Solutions.

Position Responsibilities

  • Work with Kalypso project or support team to deliver business solutions, working with business process owners, department heads, functional groups, IT, and others in the client ecosystem
  • Work on new implementations, upgrade, support, and managed services projects as needed and assigned
  • Remote interaction with clients to design solutions that address application gaps or facilitate system interaction between commercial solutions and the client\xe2\x80\x99s existing applications
  • Perform user requirements analysis; facilitate business process design sessions, identify gaps, issues, and reporting risk areas as part of an implementation team
  • Facilitate client design sessions, system integration testing and User Acceptance Testing sessions as required
  • Preparation of required project documentation: requirements document, functional specifications, test cases, etc.
  • Develop functional test scripts, testing business scenarios on application (including setups)
  • Configure the solutions in a manner that allows ease of use and quick adoption by users in all the involved business groups for a diverse set of clients
  • Demonstrate technical knowledge for software implementations including field-to-field data mapping, data migration and conversion validation, system and security configuration, user acceptance testing, and system integration testing
  • Stay abreast of the latest Oracle technologies and releases, and consider how new features and functionality may be used to solve challenges in the business areas
  • Provide solution support (short and long-term) as required by the project or client situation
  • Respond quickly and effectively to resolve customer support tickets and issues
  • Provide clear status updates within the team and to our clients
  • Contribute to internal initiatives and tool building
  • Manage flexible working hours with US teams and customers; this may require working late night outside regular India business hours
  • Support sales/pre-sales team in responding to RFPs and developing demos and POCs for prospective clients
  • Conduct knowledge transfer sessions to team members as well as end-users
  • Act as a strong team player willing to support other associates/colleagues and assisting them with problem solving for client support or projects
  • Team leadership, coaching and solution guidance as needed to less experienced team members
  • Produce high quality deliverables that represents the Kalypso/Rockwell brand
Basic Qualifications
  • B.E. / B.Tech. / MBA / MCA from reputed India College (or University) with first division (more than 65% or 6.5 CGPA)
Preferred Qualifications
  • This position typically requires a minimum of 6 years of professional Oracle Cloud software implementation experience which includes 5+ years hands-on experience implementing two or more of the following Oracle Cloud Supply Chain Management modules \xe2\x80\x93 Inventory, Manufacturing, Order Management, WMS, preferably in a team lead role with client facing experience.
  • Experience with any of the Oracle Cloud Planning (DM/SP/S&OP), Replenishment Planning, GOP and Backorder Management (BLM) modules is a strong asset.
  • Ability to perform configuration and setups in the applications required
  • Strong analytical skills and understanding of the data and the relationships between data entities required
  • Intermediate level skills in SQL, OTBI, and BIP reporting
  • Experience with FBDI and ADFDI and related data mapping skills required
  • Strong client interaction skills and an understanding of how the solution supports the business processes required
  • Must possess excellent organizational, interpersonal, oral, and written communication skills including presentation skills
