The?Functional Business Analyst will support?data migration and data transformation programs?for?global banking clients?as part of?large-scale?digital transformation initiatives.?The role focuses on understanding banking business requirements and translating them into?clear functional data specifications, working closely with business, data, and technology teams.

Key Responsibilities

Gather and document?business and functional requirements?for data migration projects Define?source-to-target mappings?and data transformation rules Support data validation, reconciliation, and business sign-off during migration Work closely with?business users, data teams, and IT?to ensure accurate data delivery Support?digital transformation and core banking modernization?initiatives Ensure alignment with?banking data standards, governance, and regulatory requirements Facilitate workshops and stakeholder discussions

Required Skills & Experience

7-15 years?of experience as a?Functional BA / Data BA?in?global banking Strong understanding of banking data domains?(customer, accounts, transactions, products, etc.) Hands-on experience with?data migration and data transformation?projects Knowledge of?data management concepts?(data quality, lineage, governance) Experience working in?Agile or Waterfall?delivery models Strong communication and stakeholder management skills
Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in Business, IT, Finance, or related field Prior experience in a?business consulting or professional services environment?preferred
