About The Job:

• To provide on-going development and application support within the Business Applications Bulk & PGP area that support the group in achieving the business goals.
• To modify and adapt standard application design to make it more efficient & flexible that supports existing/modified business processes or procedures.
• Understanding the requirements from Business Processes Specialists/GPOs and prepare Technical.
• Specifications with an alignment with Tech Lead/Architect
• Act as 'Application Expert' in 'End-to-End' application flow including infrastructure, Platform & various interfaces

Essential Job Functions:

• As a software developer, you are significantly involved in the design, specification, development and maintenance of our software product in area of Cylinder Supply Chain.
• Have a focus on the further development of any Android Mobile App based on Microsoft technology.
• Work closely with Server development team and integrate Mobile App with Server API.
• Be part of architecture design & application lifecycle management.
• Migrate existing App to future supported framework/platform.
• Regularly monitor application for security vulnerabilities and fix.
• Create and maintain documentation complying GxP criteria.
• Involve in business support activities and troubleshooting production issues.
• Stay updated with the latest trends in mobile development and be proactive in improving application design.
• Provide technical assistance and guidance to junior developer.

Qualifications:

• A Bachelor/Master degree in Computer Science, Information Technology or equivalent from a reputed institute
• Formal training and/or Microsoft Certification like MCSE, MCSD

Experience

• Should have overall 6-7 years of relevant IT experience working with reputed companies.
• Strong hands-on experience in mobile development with a strong focus on Android, web, client server development using Microsoft technology.
• Experience in working in offshore teams.
• Exposure to working in a geographically dispersed environment (medium to long term stay in European/American Countries are good to have)
• Ability to work across multiple time zones
• Knowledge of business processes, data, applications, and requirements within the liquid/Bulk and/or Packaged Gas & Products (PGP) business is a plus (For Internal Posting ONLY)

Must have

• Have 5+ years' experience in mobile development with a strong focus on Android development using .NET, C#, Xamarin.Android with overall 6 - 7 years of experience.
• Proficiency in C#, .NET and object-oriented programming (OOP) principals.
• Experience with MVC architecture.
• Experience in designing and developing hybrid mobile apps with Xamarin.
• Comprehensive knowledge of the Android SDK.
• Strong understanding of Android components, activity lifecycle, camera scanning, location & notification services, intents and data storage options such as Shared Preferences and SQLite database.
• Strong understanding of Android mobile UI/UX design principles and techniques.
• Experience with RESTful APIs, web services, and server-side technologies.
• Ability to write clean, efficient, and reusable code.
• Familiarity with Scrum agile development methodology.
• Strong debugging and problem-solving skills.

Good to have

• Experience in developing cross-platform mobile applications using .NET MAUI framework.
• Experience in migrating a Xamarin.Android App to MAUI framework is an advantage.
• Knowledge in Azure PaaS is a plus
• Familiarity with MVVM Architecture is an advantage
• Knowledge in Xamarin.forms is nice to have
• Experience with implementing Azure B2C, Entra ID Authentication (SSO) to Android App is a plus
• Experience/Familiarity of implementing State Machine in Android App is an advantage.
• Experience in Java and Kotlin programming languages is an advantage.
• Experience in Android app development related to barcode scanning, portable printing, location services is an advantage.
• Experience with Mobile App Development with Industrial devices like Zebra scanners/SDKs is an advantage.
• Experience with SonarQube is an advantage.
• Experience in any Mobile Device Management tool.
• Experience in Azure DevOps (CI/CD pipeline)
• Familiarity with SQL Cipher is good to have
