Job Overview
The Business Execution function is part of the Technology Chief Operating Office (COO) Team. This Business and Financials Associate role sits within the Business Execution function, providing analytical support on financial results, client allocations, and business strategy. Financial analyses are needed to support key GFT clients such as Risk Management, Enterprise Risk, Compliance Risk and Citi's COO
This Business and Financials Associate role also serves as a strategic advisor to senior manager Technology and acts as a liaison between the part of Tech supported and their key clients. Business Execution support the delivery of the groupxe2x80x99s strategic programs and organization, as well as keeping senior clients and stakeholders informed on day-to-day activities of the operations. This is achieved through driving activities to meet strategic organizational goals and managing the many tasks that are critical to the efficient and effective operation of the application support function. They are responsible for helping executive leaders manage change and translate the strategic vision to their teams and internal partners, stakeholders and employees. They help achieve integrated organizational goals by defining objectives, measures and protocols, providing the vision and ensuring plans are aligned, facilitating collaboration, and monitoring progress.
Responsibilities:

• Financial analysis of technology financials including direct expense analysis, variance against targets, client allocations, book of work connectivity, forecasting and projections, budget financials analysis, strategic insights
• Partner with technology owners and technology clients to ensure alignment of business goals and financial targets
• Assist leadership and stakeholders with developing quality financial analysis and insights, determining strategies, and defining/providing metrics
• Prepare materials, record minutes, and follow-up as needed on items for business committees and/ or regular business meetings
• Seek out sources, track, consolidate and analyze ad-hoc and regular business requests
• Drive implementation of business-driven projects across functions, working closely with relevant senior leadership
• Maintain Financials and Head count in Project Tracking System
• Seek out and ensure corrective actions are implemented for financials and control related issues and remedial action is taken
• Communicate Financial knowledge and requirements to business and internal support functions
• Advance control framework, ensuring audit readiness
• Appropriately assess risk when business decisions are made, demonstrating particular consideration for the firm's reputation and safeguarding Citigroup, its clients and assets, by driving compliance with applicable laws, rules and regulations, adhering to Policy, applying sound ethical judgment regarding personal behavior, conduct and business practices, and escalating, managing and reporting control issues with transparency, as well as effectively supervise the activity of others and create accountability with those who fail to maintain these standards.

Qualifications:

• 10-12 years of experience in financials, business, technology financials, or business support and analysis
• Demonstrates advanced knowledge and skills of Microsoft Office product suite especially Excel and PowerPoint; Proficiency and comfortable in managing large complex databases
• Consistently demonstrates clear and concise written and verbal communication skills; Articulates complex financial concepts and issues clearly and eloquently to a diverse range of stakeholders such as technology teams and senior finance managers

Education:

• Bachelorxe2x80x99s Degree/University degree or equivalent experience
• Masterxe2x80x99s degree preferred
