Sr. Backend Developer (NodeJS)

who can design robust, scalable APIs and backend systems for modern web and mobile applications.

Key Responsibilities

Develop and maintain scalable backend systems using

Node.js

(Express.js / NestJS preferred). Work with multiple

ORM frameworks

(Sequelize, TypeORM, Prisma, Mongoose, etc.) to build efficient database layers. Design and implement

RESTful and GraphQL APIs

. Collaborate with frontend and mobile teams to integrate backend services. Optimize application performance and troubleshoot production issues. Ensure code quality through unit tests, integration tests, and code reviews. Participate in architecture discussions and contribute to technical decisions. Manage deployments and CI/CD workflows when required.

Required Skills & Experience

? 3+ years of hands-on experience in

Node.js

development.
? Proficiency in

Express.js

and working knowledge of

NestJS

(preferred).
? Strong understanding of

multiple ORMs

like Sequelize, TypeORM, Prisma, and Mongoose.
? Good understanding of

SQL (PostgreSQL/MySQL)

and

NoSQL (MongoDB)

databases.
? Experience with

API development, authentication, and authorization (JWT, OAuth2)

.
? Familiarity with

Docker, Git, and version control best practices

.
? Strong debugging, problem-solving, and optimization skills.
? Understanding of

microservices architecture

and

REST principles

.

Nice to Have

Knowledge of

AWS / cloud services

. Experience with

message queues

(RabbitMQ, Kafka, etc.). Exposure to

CI/CD pipelines

and DevOps practices.
