Key Requirements:

We are seeking a highly skilled Azure DevOps Engineer with hands-on experience in

Azure Boards, CI/CD pipelines, and extensive knowledge of configuring and managing

Azure services. The ideal candidate will have expertise in scripting, Infrastructure as Code

(IaC), and integrating DevOps practices within cloud-native applications.

Responsibilities:


Design, build, and maintain scalable and secure CI/CD pipelines using Azure

DevOps Pipelines.


Manage and configure Azure Boards for tracking work items, bugs, and sprint

planning.


Configure and deploy applications and resources to Azure services.


Develop and maintain PowerShell and batch scripts for automation, deployment, and

monitoring tasks.


Design and implement Infrastructure as Code (IaC) using ARM templates and/or

other frameworks such as Bicep or Terraform.


Ensure secure, scalable, and well-documented deployments across environments

(Dev, QA, Staging, Production).


Collaborate with development, data, and operations teams to ensure seamless and

secure delivery of cloud services.


Troubleshoot pipeline and infrastructure issues and implement preventive and

corrective measures.


Continuously improve DevOps practices and participate in the evaluation of new

tools and technologies.

Required Skills:


4+ years of experience in Azure DevOps tools and services.


Proficiency in creating and maintaining CI/CD pipelines for various deployment

targets.


Strong understanding and hands-on experience with:

o Azure App Services

o Azure Function Apps

o Azure Databricks

o Azure Data Lake Storage (ADLS)

o Azure Cosmos DB

o Azure SQL Server

o Azure Open AI

o Azure Billing

o Azure Application Insight and Logs

o Azure organization, subscription, resource group, storage account keys

configuration

o Azure Security Services like Entra ID, Key Vault, Sentinel, Monitor log, Front

door etc.


Expertise in PowerShell and batch scripting for automation and deployment.


Solid experience in authoring and maintaining ARM templates; exposure to Terraform

or Bicep is a plus.


Familiarity with DevOps practices such as infrastructure provisioning, configuration

management, and monitoring.


Experience with Git-based source control (GitHub or Azure Repos).


Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.


Ability to work in a collaborative, fast-paced environment.

Preferred Skills:


Microsoft certifications such as AZ-400 (Azure DevOps Engineer Expert) or AZ-104 /

AZ-305.


Experience with monitoring and logging tools like Azure Monitor, Log Analytics, or

Application Insights.


Experience in Agile/Scrum environments.


Exposure to containerization (Docker, Kubernetes) is a plus.


Experience with serverless architecture.


Familiarity with microservices architecture and design.
