Perform cabling, terminations, and installation of AV equipment including telephone systems, projectors, LCD/Plasma TVs, power amplifiers, switchers, mixers, audio and video conferencing units, as well as wireless and wired microphones and manual mixers.
Read and interpret schematic diagrams, AV drawings (floor/ceiling layouts, equipment placements, and power requirements).
Understand AV concepts and ensure alignment with BOQ and site conditions.
Test, commission, and troubleshoot AV systems for performance and functionality.
Maintain daily task records and documentation for ongoing projects.
Provide technical support to subordinates and coordinate with clients, consultants, architects, and other agencies.
Ensure adherence to installation standards; resolve equipment issues promptly.
Coordinate with vendors for procurement, service, and site execution.
Conduct routine maintenance and perform upgrades for system longevity.
Stay updated with emerging AV technologies and industry best practices.
Provide end-user support and basic technical training where required.
REQUIREMENTS:
Bachelor's/Diploma in Electrical Engineering or a related field.
4-6 years of hands-on experience in AV system installation, configuration, and maintenance.
Solid understanding of AV signal flow and system design.
Strong problem-solving skills with attention to detail.
Ability to read and interpret technical documents and schematics.
Capable of independently handling multi-site, multi-vendor AV projects.
Excellent organizational and time management skills.
