DESCRIPTIONQuality Services (QS) organization provides testing support for Devices, Retail and AWS products. The primary objective of QS organization is to provide manual testing support. An Associate, Quality Services performs manual test execution of documented task instructions. They produce accurate test results meeting daily targets, adhering to defined processes.Key job responsibilities
1. Understand and execute instructions to test one or more device / application features
2. Contribute to training, knowledge sharing sessions on areas they work with the team
3. Handle queries raised by peers and help unblocking when they need help
4. Identify any gaps in operating procedures / task steps and suggest changes
5. Deliver high quality meeting deadlines
6. Ensure compliance and follow all applicable policies for securing confidential information.
7. Learn conceptually the flow of work related to the projectA day in the life
Quality Services (QS) is 1000+ member organization providing manual test services for a wide range of Amazon products and operates out of Chennai, India and Arlington, VA. Test services include regression testing, new feature testing, accessibility testing using diversity workforce, localisation testing to support international marketplace testing and interoperability testing across 1P / 3P devices for services.About the team
We support a total of 65+ product teams including Amazon Devices (Alexa Devices, Health & Wellness, Ring etcxe2x80xa6), Consumer apps and services (Audible, Delivery Apps, etcxe2x80xa6), AWS (WorkDocs, Chime etcxe2x80xa6), Advertising Engineering (Kindle Special Offer, IMDb TV etcxe2x80xa6) and Amazon Video and Studios.BASIC QUALIFICATIONSBasic qualifications Graduate, preferably in a quantitative field of study with relevant exp of 1- 2 years xc2xb7 Experience reporting any deviations / bugs from their quality experience xc2xb7 Experience in sharing knowledge gained with peers xc2xb7 Familiarity using computer and software xc2xb7 Experience usage of any gadgets or devices xc2xb7 Good communication skills, detailed oriented and be a team player xc2xb7 Capability to follow defined processes and adhere to policiesPREFERRED QUALIFICATIONSRequires the ability to conceptually understand the flow of work Understanding about software testing xc2xb7 Ability to conceptually understand the flow of work Our inclusive culture empowers Amazonians to deliver the best results for our customers.
