Sr. Associate Material Mgmt. will be Hardware Interface with the NPI Team and responsible for coordinating and Managing all the purchase activities required for the HW development . Project/Program Engineer will also coordinates supply of engineering prototypes to software engineering, QA, supply chain, PLM, and marketing organizations, as well as, coordination of customer early access prior to general availability.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Working with NPI primes and Flex Guad team as representative from HW Engineering for tracking the Proto schedule/shipment, handling the Bill of Material challenges for prototype manufacturing of Routing and Switching products.Role also includes working with Component Manufacturers for arranging Samples for long lead items in order to keep proto activity going
• Lead the effort for establishing local Manufacturing Vendors for building the HW Protos
• Closely working with Lab and engineering team for procurement of lab equipments and material requested for testing and development activity.
• Coordinating with HW Engineering and i-connective (Telcordia)for arranging CLEI code for Packet gear products.
• Cordinating with Engineering and Compliance laboratory to get quote and slot booking for Global complaince testing and certifications.
• Coordination with GCM and legal team for NDA review and completing due diligence process for supplier onboarding.
• Coordination with legal and compliance team for Cyber Security Risk Assessment for onboarding new supplier.
• Cordinating with Accounts and Logistics teams for import/export related queries/Processes

• Demonstrated skills in desktop applications such as Excel, Word, PowerPoint, database applications, and Microsoft Project, as well as, ERP tools such as Agile

EDUCATION / EXPERIENCE

• Bachelor's degree in related field from a college or university with 6+ years related experience
