Job Description


Collaborate with internal and external stakeholders to develop and implement CSR strategies, policies, and programs aligned with the companys goals and community needs. Conduct research and stay updated on regional social and environmental issues, as well as relevant CSR trends and best practices. Assist in the planning, execution, and evaluation of CSR projects and initiatives, ensuring effective utilization of resources. Engage with community organizations, NGOs, and government agencies to build partnerships and identify collaboration opportunities. Develop and maintain relationships with local stakeholders, including community leaders, influencers, and regional CSR networks. Support in conducting needs assessments and stakeholder mapping exercises to identify key social impact areas and design targeted CSR interventions. Assist in the development and management of employee volunteering programs and engagement activities. Support in the implementation of sustainable development projects and monitor their progress, ensuring compliance with CSR standards. Assist in preparing CSR reports, impact assessments, and sustainability disclosures, highlighting the companys social and environmental performance. Facilitate employee awareness and training programs related to CSR and sustainable practices, emphasizing regional language communication. Participate in CSR-related events, conferences, and networking opportunities to represent the company and promote CSR initiatives. Stay informed about local CSR regulations, reporting requirements, and compliance standards. Collaborate with cross-functional teams within the organization to integrate CSR considerations into business practices and decision-making. Support in the coordination of CSR-related communications, including internal newsletters, social media updates, and website content. Contribute to the development and implementation of CSR-related marketing and communication campaigns. Provide support in CSR-related fundraising activities and engagement with corporate partners and donors. Mandatory Qualification and Experience: Bachelors or Masters degree in Social Sciences, Administration, or a related field. 1-2 years of experience in CSR, community engagement, or related fields, preferably in a corporate or nonprofit environment. Strong understanding of CSR principles, sustainability frameworks, and industry best practices. Excellent communication skills in the regional language (Kannada), both verbal and written, with proficiency in English. Proven experience in managing CSR projects, stakeholder engagement, and community development initiatives. Knowledge of regional social issues, cultural nuances, and local CSR networks in Bangalore. Familiarity with CSR reporting frameworks such as GRI (Global Reporting Initiative) or SASB (Sustainability Accounting Standards Board). Strong interpersonal skills, with the ability to build effective relationships and collaborate with diverse stakeholders. Excellent organizational and project management skills, with the ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines. Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and data analysis tools. Self-motivated, proactive, and able to work independently as well as part of a team. Experience in employee volunteering programs or community engagement initiatives is an advantage. Familiarity with CSR software platforms and tools is a plus. Willingness to travel occasionally within Bangalore and nearby regions.
