Responsibilities:
Lead the architectural planning and design of residential, commercial, industrial and mixed-use developments on authority-sanctioned plots, ensuring compliance with local zoning laws and building by-laws.
Prepare and review master plans, layout designs, and building elevations in alignment with urban development authority guidelines and land use regulations.
Coordinate with government agencies, planners, and engineering teams to obtain necessary approvals, clearances, and NOCs.
Supervise site planning, infrastructure integration, and sustainable design elements to optimize space utilization and environmental performance.
Provide strategic design direction to enhance project value, community impact, and long-term urban development goals through innovative and context-sensitive architectural solutions.
Requirements:
Bachelor's or Master's degree in Architecture from a recognized institution
Minimum 3-5 years of professional experience, with substantial work on government or authority-approved plot developments
In-depth knowledge of local building codes, development control regulations, and urban authority guidelines (e.g., DDA, LDA, HUDA)
Proficiency in architectural design software such as AutoCAD, Revit, SketchUp, and related visualization tools
Strong experience in master planning, site layout, and infrastructure coordination
Proven ability to manage authority approvals, NOC processes, and regulatory documentation
Excellent communication and coordination skills to work with clients, consultants, and government bodies
Strong leadership and mentoring abilities to guide design teams and junior Teammates.
Familiarity with sustainable and green building practices aligned with national and local standards
Registered with the Council of Architecture (COA) and familiarity with, YEIDA, GNIDA, NOIDA Authority and NBCC Guidelines.
