Job Description

Project Leadership:

Leads architectural design projects from concept to completion, ensuring projects are delivered on time, on budget, and to the required quality standards.

Design Development:

Develops and interprets a range of structural designs, ensuring the design meets the standards, codes, and regulations of the industry.

Team Management:

Coordinates and supervises the work of junior architects and drafters, providing guidance and mentorship.

Client Communication:

Works closely with clients to understand their needs and requirements, and to present design proposals and solutions.

Documentation:

Prepares detailed architectural drawings, specifications, and documentation for construction.

Coordination:

Coordinates with other disciplines (e.g., engineers, contractors) to ensure project success.

Construction Administration:

Oversees the construction phase, ensuring the project is built according to the design plans and specifications.

Compliance:

Ensures compliance with building codes, regulations, and industry standards.

Budget and Schedule Management:

Manages project budgets, schedules, and resources effectively.
Qualifications:

Education:

Bachelor's or Master's degree in Architecture.

Licensure:

A professional architectural license is typically required.

Experience:

Extensive experience in architectural design and project management.

Skills:

Strong design skills and understanding of architectural principles. Proficiency in CAD software and other design tools. Excellent communication, interpersonal, and presentation skills. Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities. Ability to work independently and as part of a team. Knowledge of building codes, regulations, and industry standards. Experience with sustainable design and green building practices.
