to lead architectural design, planning, and execution of projects from concept through completion. The Senior Architect will be responsible for design excellence, technical accuracy, team leadership, client coordination, and compliance with statutory regulations.
Key ResponsibilitiesDesign & Technical Leadership
Lead the development of architectural concepts, designs, drawings, and specifications.
Review and approve architectural plans, layouts, elevations, and detailed drawings.
Ensure designs meet functional, aesthetic, sustainability, and budgetary requirements.
Provide technical guidance and problem-solving support throughout the project lifecycle.
Project Management & Coordination
Coordinate with clients, consultants, engineers, contractors, and authorities.
Oversee multiple projects simultaneously, ensuring timelines and quality standards are met.
Participate in project planning, cost estimation, and value engineering exercises.
Monitor site execution and resolve design-related issues during construction.
Team Leadership & Mentoring
Lead and mentor junior architects and design teams.
Allocate work, review outputs, and ensure adherence to company standards.
Conduct design reviews and technical training sessions when required.
Client & Stakeholder Management
Act as the primary point of contact for clients on architectural matters.
Present design proposals, reports, and progress updates to stakeholders.
Incorporate client feedback while maintaining design integrity and feasibility.
Compliance & Quality Assurance
Ensure compliance with local building codes, zoning regulations, safety norms, and statutory approvals.
Maintain high-quality documentation and drawing standards.
Support approval processes with municipal and regulatory authorities.
Innovation & Sustainability
Integrate sustainable and energy-efficient design principles.
Stay updated with industry trends, materials, technologies, and best practices.
Promote innovative solutions to enhance design quality and project efficiency.
Required Qualifications & Skills
Bachelor's or Master's degree in Architecture.
Registered Architect (preferred/mandatory as per local regulations).
Minimum
2 years
of relevant professional experience.
Strong proficiency in AutoCAD, Revit, SketchUp, BIM tools, and presentation software.
Excellent leadership, communication, and coordination skills.
Strong understanding of construction methods, materials, and project workflows.
Preferred Experience
Experience in residential, commercial, mixed-use, or large-scale developments.
Exposure to site execution and consultant coordination.
Experience handling government/statutory approvals is an advantage.
