Position Overview



This position will be responsible for all technical aspects of Power BI report development. Either as an individual contributor or as a team player supporting Power BI lead in the creation and ongoing refinement of reports for various departments across business units.

Responsibilities:

Power BI Report development. Building Analysis Services reporting models. Developing visual reports, KPI scorecards, and dashboards using Power BI desktop. Connecting data sources, importing data, and transforming data for Business intelligence. Analytical thinking for translating data into informative reports and visuals. Capable of implementing row-level security on data along with an understanding of application security layer models in Power BI. Should have an edge over making DAX queries in Power BI desktop. Expert in using advanced-level calculations on the data set. Responsible for design methodology and project documentaries. Should be able to develop tabular and multidimensional models that are compatible with data warehouse standards. Very good communication skills must be able to discuss the requirements effectively with the client teams, and with internal teams.

Requirements:

Should have 8-10 year of experience with BI tools and systems such as Power BI, Tableau, and ERP (JD Edwards/ SAP etc), experience with JDE will be preferred. Knowledge in Microsoft BI Stack Grip over data analytics Should possess software development skills Data Source Connectivity: Knowledge of connecting to various data sources, such as databases, cloud services, and APIs Power Query: Ability to use Power Query for data extraction and transformation SQL: Familiarity with SQL for querying databases. Nice to have Microsoft Certified: Data Analyst Associate: This certification covers Power BI in detail and demonstrates your proficiency in data analysis using Power BI. Nice to have Microsoft Certified: Power BI Certified: This certification specifically focuses on Power BI and certifies your skills in data modelling, visualizations, and DAX.
