Job Description

Our company is currently seeking an Android Developer to help us build the best possible experience for our end users. In this role, you will translate business requirements into tech realities. You will design, test, and deploy applications for Android, from the architectural planning stage to the QA testing and debugging stage. Applicants must have a bachelor's degree in software engineering or computer science as well as development experience on Android platforms. We may also consider applicants without an advanced degree if you have proven skills in Android development as well as programming skills in Kotlin and Java.

Android Developer Duties and Responsibilities

Design, develop, test, and deploy Android applications
Assist with architectural planning
Collaborate with QA engineers to create and execute tests
Identify and fix bugs in the code
Provide technical support for software issues

Android Developer Requirements and Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in software engineering or computer science (or equivalent experience)
Android development experience (2-4 years preferred)
Proficiency in Kotlin, Java, and C++
Familiarity with Android SDK, including APIs
Familiarity with Agile methodologies

An Android Developer designs, builds, tests, and maintains functional mobile applications for devices running the Android operating system using languages like Java and Kotlin and tools like Android Studio. Key responsibilities include translating user designs into code, optimizing application performance, debugging issues, and ensuring compatibility across various Android devices and OS versions. Developers must collaborate with product teams, UI/UX designers, and other stakeholders to deliver high-quality, secure, and user-friendly applications, while also staying updated on the latest Android technologies and features

Required Skills & Tools

Programming Languages

: Proficiency in Java and/or Kotlin.

Development Tools

: Experience with the Android SDK and the official IDE, Android Studio.

APIs & Libraries

: Familiarity with integrating external APIs, Firebase, and other third-party services.

UI/UX Principles

: Understanding of Material Design guidelines for creating intuitive and visually appealing interfaces.

Testing Frameworks

: Experience with unit testing, UI testing, and other automated testing tools to ensure code quality and performance.

Knowledge of Android Ecosystem

: Deep understanding of the Android platform, its various versions, and device fragmentation challenges..

Pay: ₹11,917.07 - ₹51,030.15 per month
